Erm, I have a question. At what point are women not allowed to have sex, or sex would be harmful to the cervix or vagina during pregnancy? I have heard it rumoured that a woman is supposed to cease sex with anything (man or object) when she is starting her third trimester.

grrr...I am going to NY tonight because I was supposed to see the VMs at her University- which she is in this year- and she just called to let me know it was pushed back two weeks. So now I am thinking that I have my little sister that weekend, and wondering if the VMs are appropraite for an 11-yr old. What do you ladies think? She is pretty old for her age, and we have already started talking about drugs and why models with bones protruding are not what a healthy woman looks like, so I think she can handle it, but I have never actually seen the monolouges before, so I am not positive. Thanks for your input.

I often put vulvas on my desktop wallpaper. I have a friend who comes over to use my computer, and when she sees these vulvas (these REAL vulvas presented in an artful way, not pornstar vulvas), she always starts complaining about how gross it is and how much it creeps her out, and it's always, "Leanna! ...You didn't put this up, did you? Oh, it's so gross. You really should change it or cover it up or something." It really makes me feel like she conforms to the vaginainstitute.com's standard of beauty.

That bothers me. One of those times it was my vulva, which, by the way, she's had some personal experience with, and it's a bit insulting. I don't think I told her who the vulva belonged to, but still. I guess my vulva is too hairy. I guess the lips are too big, I guess they're lopsided. I guess it doesn't matter that my clitoris is my favorite body part, and that it did much more for me than my nice sedate breasts ever did. I wonder how a well-educated, open-minded person is still at a point where she, for all appearances, hates vulvas and hates her vulva. Because I don't think you can think vulvas are gross without hating your own. In the same vein, she'll never get a person to lay her halfway decently if she doesn't respect herself and her vulva and whip other folks into shape about loving her vulva.

I gave her a copy of Cunt by Inga Muscio. I wonder if it'll make any difference.

VCF melts into my finger; I think I wasted as many or more out of the box than I actually used. Semicid has slipped out. Both have gotten stuff into his urethra and irritated him. I hesitate on a diaphragm because of the horrificness of trying to have sex with an Instead in. I've only been off the pill a few months; I wanted to try to get back in touch with my cycle for a while. But I guess it's back to that or condoms...

i've been recently showering my vagina with great gifts that are a major investment in my (and the planet's!) future: last month it was the Keeper, and i just received my Gladrags in the mail (YAY! Right on time! heh).

I only ordered 3 of the gladrags, though, and i've decided i would like to have at least enough to last me if i ever wanted do go a whole period with coth pads exclusively. Soooo, i was checking out The Hag Rag , which sells VERY cute cloth pads.
And so!
I was just wondering, have any of you VP ladies ordered from Hag Rag before? What do you think of their product?? I haven't used the Gladrags yet, and although they do look like they'll be just lovely, and are my favourite shade of green (^_^), they were not the cheapest for me to order and only seem to come in solid colours (no cute batty patterns! *pout*).

Completing my coth pad collection with some variety would be super nice, and i always like to get other's opinions before i fork over the cash ^_^.

ok.. im 14 going on 15. and i need to know some stuff on birth control.
im am sexually active and rencently my older sister had to get on abortion.
i use condoms when i have sex. and i have only had sexy with one person ever
sence i started and samn with him.. we lost ourselfs to eachother..
and my parents love him and think we're going to marry.
i dont want to upset my parents by making the samn mistake my sis did..
they know i have sex.. and are somewhat ok with it but they dont want me pregnet.
i was think about going on the birth control patch. i was wondering if anybody had
any info i could look at about the patch. i really need the info and if anybody has
