Hi all, glad to have found this community.

Typically I only have the "issue" posted about here, i.e. frequent discharge and stained panties. Joy! I've gotten used to that and given up wasting money on panty liners.

My question is related but slightly different. Was doing my nightly shower masturbation when I realized that my discharge was not typical, but actually mostly bloody. It's been maybe two weeks since my period -- is this just something simple like I'm ovulating, or could I have an infection?

Hello lovely VPers!
I'm having issues with my natural fluids. The last day or two it's taken on a different odour - really hard to describe as it doesn't smell like anything recognisable, yet still smells different to the way it normally does. Also, I tasted a little of it (yes, I know, probably gross) and it tastes of....nothing. Absolutely tasteless. Which has never happened to me before.

Any thoughts? I've got no itching or anything else going on down there and the last time I had sex was about three months ago with my then boyfriend and we used a condom. So I'm a bit baffled as to what it could be!

I found this very interesting.
It also mentioned the use of Neem for STD's (including Herpes and AIDS) yeast infections and urinary track infections. (really any infections our vaginas can catch)

Thera Neem as birth control )

Yesterday, I posted about my concurrent UTI, YI, vaginal cut and pregnancy scare. Well, my period came last night, ruling out one of the problems...but now I have a whole new issue on my hands. How do I deal with having a YI as well as my period?

My crotch is itching incessantly. Like, a real prickling kind of itch that goes away for one second after rubbing and then returns worse than ever. It's unbearable. I can't rub, because it will exacerbate my cut. I can't air it, because I'm at work and besides, I have my period. So it's pretty tight and damp down there. I have no yogurt with me, though I did take a cup this morning.

Any tips to get rid of the itch?

Also, I take it wearing a tampon isn't a good idea?

So I like many other VP readers know that I get yeast infections sometimes and rather than phone le doctor I treat them at home. Usually a couple acidophilus and it is finito. However, this time I did not have adidophilus so I treated it for about 2 hours with some garlic until I decided to buy acidophilus. Well, that appears to have aggravated it mightly..

The acidophilus is not working (and I think only helping contribute to the moisture down there). So I stuck another garlic clove up there and am going to leave this clove in there for the recommended 12 hours. But heres my question, when I inserted the garlic this time it burned quite a bit for the first 5 minutes or so and now does not burn at all. Could this be making the yeast infection worse? Is the burning something to be concerned about?

I seem to come from the school of thought that if it burns it is working. Am I wrong??

Oh and just out of curiousity sake from a chemical stand point what makes garlic clear up a yeast infection??

Thanks gals and guys.

My rational question:
I am switching pill types in a couple months. Should I just have my regular period week and then start taking the new stuff? I'm going from Seasonale to Ortho-Cyclen.

My kinda crazy pill question:
I had a natural gas leak in my house today. Everything's fine now, but my pills were in the gassy room for a couple hours. They're sealed up, so they should be protected right? I feel dumb but I'm a lil nervous. I'm not that worried about the new pills because they came in a sealed candybarish wrapper, and then are sealed on the inside as well. My current pill pack though has just the sealant that's in the case, like directly around the pills.

I apologize if this has been asked in excess, but does anyone here skip their periods using Nuva Ring? If so, do you leave it in for the four weeks and then immediately insert a new one, or is there another procedure?

For a while now,  every month, after my period I experience an itching and burning sensation down below with a strange watery discharge. I was wondering if this is an infection or is it normal?
Thank you in advance!

I'm currently unemployed at the moment and Nuvaring is just so damn convenient but expensive.

Does anyone happen to know if there's a generic Nuva?
