So guys, I'm constipated. I can't poop! I know that it's in there because I feel like I have to go, and it will start to come out, but no matter how hard I try it just doesn't happen. And it hurts!

What do I do??! I've been trying to drink water and eat foods with fiber, but someone in this community has to have some better ideas. I've heard that laxatives, etc. can actually make it worse, and I can't really go to the doctor right now.

Any and all suggestions are appreciated.

ok, i realise how annoying these posts are but i have trawled the internet and this community and still don't have a definitive answer.

i am 99% sure i have a yeast infection. i was on antibiotics 2 weeks ago [amoxicillin] and since then I've had a variety of symptoms. First of all, I had the nasty side effect of diarrhea, which, without going into too much detail, I assumed was the cause of irritation around my rectum. However, that stopped when I finished the anti biotics, but the rectal irritation persisted, and also my vulva was persistantly itchy. I also have the typical 'cottage cheese' discharge. I bought an over the counter cream to treat it. The thing that is most bugging me though is that my vulva isn't itchy anymore, but the discharge remains, along with a very different smell. But the most giant cause of irritation is the rectal area, which continues to itch like crazy as well as have what i can only describe as many 'dry patches', which are incredibly painful when using the toilet. I thought they felt like blisters, but closer inspection shows them to appear more like little tears or 'dry patches.' Is it possible to have a yeast infection in both the vulva and rectum and if so, can I use the cream I bought over the counter for the whole area?

Thanks ladies.

Hiiii.

I'm six months pregnant with my first child and a couple of days ago, I guess I strained too hard and gave myself hemorrhoids (oh the joys of being pregnant). Well, I did the first thing anyone would do when their butthole hurts for no apparent reason..I called my mom. She told me to go to walmart and get some preperation H wipes and supositories. So I did aaannndd...

For the last couple of years I've had a recurrent problem with the skin of my perineum. On a regular basis, maybe every other week, when doing #2, my skin down there splits - only the uppermost layer of the skin, just enough to show a fine red line when I check with a mirror, and very, very rarely a tiny amount of bleeding. It mostly happens when I have hardish stools or when I have diarrhea but sometimes also when there is no reason at all.
These skin splits heal very quickly and I haven't been able to show them to a doctor. There is no yeast present, and no other infection. Just the "ouch" moment, and then it really burns like hell for a few days when peeing...

Now, I know that I should avoid constipation and diarrhea, but I live in a country where things can be a bit hit or miss in terms of cleanliness, and I tend to not be the "daily" person. Of course I try not to irritate things with rough toilet paper or harsh soap. But other than that I really have no clue what to do.

Background info: 38, not on hormonal bc, no births (or pregnancies), no hemorrhoids, no other skin issues.

Any ideas as to what this might be? Had it and fixed it?

Okay, I have quite a history of vaginal problems from the last two months. First, I got the respitory flu and some diarrhea, and despite all attempts to whip as cleanly as possibly (front to back, of course!), I ended up getting bacterial vaginitis! My symptoms included an intense itch, burning urination, and an intense amount of pain in my vagina. But, the antibiotic to clear it up gave me yeast! Great, right? I took diflucan, and a week later, it was only a little better, so I used my refil. Then, my itchyness went away, but it still burned when I peed. So, I went to the doctor, yet again, and I found out that I had had a bladder infection. The antibiotic for the bladder infection took five days to clear it up- but then it gave me yeast. Again. Which is where I am now- oh, and this morning I got a bladder infection. Again. I'm not to happy with my girly bits right now.

So, I just came back from the doctor. Since I got the yeast, around my anus has been itching, as well. I forgot (wtf!) to tell my doctor about that, and I was wondering if it could be yeast spread to that area? I've read in this community about outer yeast infections, and I'm wondering if thats what happened. I also just found a few drops of blood in my stool. Could that be from yeast, as well? If it is, will the diflucan clear that up as well as my vagina?

Thanks.

I am constantly getting pimples between my butt-cheecks, and it is Annoying. They're painful enough as it is, but I have to sit on them too! I cannot figure out why this happens to me. I'm not overweight, I wash every day, I only wear cotton briefs, and I wear skirts every day (never tightly-fitting pants). Does anyone else have this problem?
