I'm scared I might have HPV. Sore bumps appeared around my pubic region and just above the top of my clitoris. I've only had one sexual partner who would've been the cause if I do have it. He, however, has had more sexual partners than I have, and as we're no longer seeing one another, and if I do have it, what should I do?

Hello!
I have a question, and I'm not really sure anything can be done about this [I hope something can!].  I would just really like to see if anyone in this world can relate or know what I'm talking about this.
During sex, seriously like, EVERYTIME, the opening to my urethra [pee hole!] gets sore like ASAP. and YES I do lube up very well. I can't get naturally really wet anymore [ugh I blame birth control!] but I completely lay on the sexual lubricants so I'm pretty sure dryness is not a problem.

I mean, I am almost pretty sure its my urethra thats making me feel the soreness. I just want to liek, numb it or something and then everything else would be perfect! Is it because it maybe oculd be extra close to my vaginal opening? That could be dumb but I have no idea about that, and I also have no idea why MINE has to hurt ha. Id think after all the sex I have that it would just build up and not get sore and raw anymore, but it does!
I hope you all kinda understand what im talking about when I say the only the opening to my urethra is the part thats gets sore due to the friction of the penis i guess, rubbing on it during intercourse. its not the whole urinary tract or anything and it isnt sore like constantly. only feel the pain during sex. :-(

The immediate raw feeling/pain I experience is VERY anti-climatic, bleh. It makes me want to have the sex be over with right away, and it has nothing to do with anyones sexual performance here.

ANY WAY to make it not be sore? Or at least ANYONE know what I am talking about because I feel like its sucha rare little  thing to occur because I dont hear anyone complaining about THAT kind of soreness, just usually vaginal soreness from intercourse.
I hope im describing everything well enough so it clearly explains my dilemma here.

Ok now that your probably so sick of the word urethra by now, ha im done!
Thanks for reading.

I hope this is okay to talk about because it doesn't EXACTLY refer to the vagina, more the ovaries, and peeing, really. Please, of course, delete this or tell me to if this isn't the place to ask.

Well, now that you're all excited.

Yesterday was exactly two weeks after the end of my period. I take birth control, the same kind I've had for over a year now (it's never given me any problems so I don't think this is the problem, I just wanted to mention it for backstory, it's ortho tricyclen lo).

About two days ago I started getting a feeling like cramps, then yesterday it intensified to the point that I almost asked someone to take me to the emergency room. I couldn't really unbend my body, walk, etc for about an hour. It faded away, but has come back in stabbing paints (where my ovaries are, on either side) and is a constant dull pain if I stretch, move a certain way, etc. Is there some sort of weird ovary-disease I could have? Is this something other people experience, extreme excruciating pain and a little nausea around the time of ovulation?

I'm keen to figure it out because it's been sort of going on for three days now, though it never hurt as bad again since yesterday, and I don't want something strange to be going on in there and me become infertile. Anyone have the slightest idea what could be going on with my female-parts this week?

What do you think? Should I break my alreadybroke bank and go see a doctor?

I've always though PMS was a little overblown, and I'm a litttle shy of saying some of the mood swings I get are because of it.. seems like a lot of it is a placebo effect. However I've noticed that maybe 3-4 days before it starts, I usually have one night where I wind up in tears; it always seems like an appropriate response to something 'bad' that happens at the time, but I'm beginning to think it's pretty much because of my mood. It seems fairly consistent. If nothing is wrong to be sad about, I'll get depressed about lifein general/how we're all gonna die in 70 years or less, haha.
Also, my cramps usually aren't bad at all, but I get BAD back-aches. CAN you get backaches with your period? I get them the first couple of days, I try to correct it, as if my posture is causing it, but I can't fix it, and I think I'm just stuck with it.

and also, I used to have really irregular periods at 5'4 and 120 pounds, went to college and after my first year I was like 130 by the middle. then my periods came like clockwork. 30 days 30 days 30 days 30 days. this summer, i've just started losing a bit safely, running a bit more.. down to 126 or so. and this last period took 40 days to come. the funny thing is, my doctor ( i go to a general pediatrician) says 120 is my normal weight and that 130 is on the heavy side for 5'4ers.. is the fact that my period comes irregularly unless i'm up at 130 a sign that that's my universe/god-given weight to be at?

so i've been on the nuvaring for a little bit over one full cycle. i reported problems with libido, but those seemed to have resolved themselves :)

now here's my new question:

i'm getting my wisdom teeth out on the 23rd. i'm supposed to take out the ring on the sunday before, the 21st i believe. so i'll probably be starting my "period" on the 23rd. i read about possible complications for women taking oral contraceptives, is there anything ishould be wary about? should i just skip the period this month?

I've checked the memories and the planned parenthood site but I'm still a little confused. I recently started taking Ortho Tri Cylen Low, and my insurance covers part of it, but I still have to pay $30 bucks out of pocket each month. Can you go to planned parenthood for the pill even if you have an insurance plan that covers the pill? Granted some coverage is better than none, but I'm a poor college student and sometimes $30 a month isn't going to be easy to come by!

Also, at my yearly exam my pap was normal, does that mean std-wise I'm fine? I'm assuming that if anything was wrong my pap would have been abnormal...unless the two aren't at all related and I need a blood test.

There is SO much info out there. I just started taking the pill and the research is giving me a headache! Our bodies are so darned complicated!

so i am a virgin, and i want to stay that way till im married but my boyfriend and i do fool around a little.
we have done the basics like fingering and all that jazz. but he tends to finger me while he is masterbating himself, and usually cums on my stomach and sometimes it gets on the outside of my vagina.
but, recently he has taken the tip of this penis and rubbed it on and a little on the inside of my vagina, but never really going in, never has he done this with any kind of semen on his penis. Do i run any risk of getting pregnant through this?
we both know we are std free, so that isnt a worry, just the other?? what do yall think?

yi diseases

ok so about a month ago i had a YI. I had symptoms for about a week, but then my period came and everything felt fine, and i avoided tampons to avoid irritation just in case. After my period, my vagina was still a little bit reddish/thicker discharge for a few days, and then felt completely fine. My scent is a little bit different then before, and my discharge might (im not really sure, depending on my cycle) be a little thicker, but for probaly a week-and-a-half, my vagina has been been pretty happy!

I also posted a bit ago if it was a bad idea for a guy to go down on me if i may still have a YI. I know the answer now, obviously...

but today my boyfriend went down on me, and then i went down on him as well...(in between some kissing) NOTHING crossed my mind, except pleasure.

So now i remember all of the horrible effects of going down on a girl with a YI, and I'm freaking out. I don't think I have one anymore, but I'm still really nervous. (so nervous i brushed my teeth/mouth vigourously three times, and used to super strong mouthwash) So do I have anything to worry about? please help girls....

Alright. I hope this doesnt sound way too wackey but is there any way to naturally control your healing process during your period? I've got this super heavy flow for two days, then a very very light "i'm leaving now! buh-Bye! No blood at all!" period for a day or two followed by two days of "HAH! FOOLED YOU! I WAS HIDING *GUUUSSSHHH!* OW!" followed by nothing until the next cycle. Is there any way to regulate yourself into a steady GUSH then GOODBYE or GOODBYE then GUSH? I've had my period for 8 or 9 years and it still tricks me and makes thing irritating.

So, I checked the tags and didn't see anything - I hope this hasn't been posted recently...

I got my period back at 7 months postpartum. Since then I have been getting a period every 26-29 days like clockwork and I am now nearly 14 months pp. In the beginning, I noticed that there was quite a bit of clots in it - but I figured that would be expected for the first one or so. However, I really haven't seen any change over the past 6 months and now I wonder if I should be concerned. The clotting seems more than I remember in my prepregnancy periods. Anyone else notice this? My periods have also changed in that they are blessedly cramp-free and not nearly as heavy or as long as they were. There is no possibility of pregnancy and I am still nursing.
