well my boyfriend and I usually use spermicial condoms when we have sex.
I finished my last period about 3 days ago. And in these three days we've used the withdrawal method. We've both agreed that condoms cause us irritation, so I'm going to go on the pill.
The problem is, especially in Malta Europe, where I live, a 16 year old girl has nowhere to go. There is no Planned Parenthood.
Now I cannot talk with my mom about sex, we barely talk, so I cant tell her I need a gyno appointment. I wanna do a pap smear and a pregnancy test, and discuss contraceptive methods but I really have nowhere to go.

I'm starting Diane 35 next period. How good is it, and what are the side effects?

I just wanted to thank people for answering my questions about my visit to Planned Parenthood. It went well, it wasn't horrid at all, and the resident doctor was very nice. I've got a prescription for Mircette now, but I don't start for another 2 weeks or so.

Anyone else on Mircette?

ok, its been just about a month now since i started my birth control pills.
i spotted a lot the 2nd week i was on the pill.
then it stopped for a couple of days.
then sometime during my 3rd week, the spotting started again. blood AND cramps this week. like i'm having a period. is this normal?

Out of interest, does the time of the month you get a smear test done effect anything? Is there a best time to go (other than not when on your period)?
I keep forgetting to make my appointment, so I'm procrastinating.

I'm so frustrated, can you guys help?

i've been having shaving bumps and irritation around my bikini area. now i know that's normal and they have creams for that stuff and all, but the problem is that i've tried them all, as well as moisturizers, baby oil and all taht good stuff, and nothing helps and i'm really embarassed about this. this has been going on for so long and i cant get rid of it. i want to shave more area down there but i'm afraid it'll get irritated as well. are there any tried and true solutions to this at all? please help. thanks.
