I understand that you can start your period after you have an orgasm (mainly your first one - or first really intense one, I guess)... because that happened to me. But I just want to know if that's a one-time thing or if at certain times, certain ways, certain orgasms can make you start your period. Cuz if so... that would be crappy. I hated when having my first orgasm with my boyfriend made me start my period AGAIN after only 2 weeks. I had my period before and it was over and done with before I went to see him, he gave me the orgasm of my life while I was there, then two days later when I had returned home, I started my period again. I HATED it! Pretty heavy flow, too. That's not like me. BLAH. So please let me know cuz I'm really curious.

Extreme PMS

I've been meaning to ask this question for a long time--I really hope one of you ladies can help me out.

For the past year or so, my experience with PMS has been aweful, to say the least.

Now, I'm not talking cramps-I can deal with those. I am talking about being severly emotionally unstable about 2 weeks before my period. I know that it is definitly caused by my period/PMS, because it literally dissapears the instant I get it. I become the meanest woman alive, who then in turn becomes the saddest woman alive. And when I say mean, I mean- watch out. And the sadness is not like how it used to be for me. It's borderline depression. It's not being able to get up in the morning, uncontrollably crying for an hour straight. It's aweful. A friend of mine told me that perhaps I have a thyroid problem? Is this possible? I truly know nothing about this stuff. Would going ON birth control help? Should I see a doctor? Am I the only one here with this problem!?

Thanks;
Sarah

i have been experiencing some itching right outside the vaginal opening, not on the labia anywhere, but just on the inside, without going "inside".

does anyone know what this could be a symptom of?

thank u so much

My dearest vulva-loving superstars,

We're talking about setting up a resource center of sorts for our younger members here in the VP and we wanted to see what other members think.

I wish that I'd had something like that when I was coming of age. I realize now that I was totally clueless and I think that now that we're all together here at the VagPag, there's no reason why we shouldn't pool our many resources and help each other out. After all, VP is unique because we're lucky enough to have members of all ages and backgrounds.

So! My questions to you are:

(1) Are you in favor of a resource center on our web page for younger members?

(2) If yes, what kinds of things would you like to see there?

Please don't be shy! I hope 15-year-olds as well as 45-year-olds (and everyone in between and all around those ages) will respond. :)

Viva la vulva!,

Hey everyone, I have kind of a problem...
Just a few nights ago I had unprotected sex with this guy, it was my first time...

At first, I wanted to do it, then about 5 seconds later I got all freaked out thinking about if he gets me pregnant so I told him to stop, and he stopped... The problem is, I know pre-cum has sperm in it, and I was wondering what the chances of me being pregnant are? I'm really scared. Any information would be much appreciated.

also is there any way that you guys know of that I can get birth control pills without my parents knowing about it?

I feel that I am ready to have sex,

but my parents would freak 'cause they're really overprotective.

hi all. i am new to this community and i want to know if anyone out there has advice about my personal situation. i have been on the pill for ten years now. this is an eternity i know. i am officially a guinea pig for the long term effects of the pill on the female body. ugh! that's why i am getting off the pill now. my body needs the change.

I am in a relationship so I still need protection. i am switching over to the diaphram.

my question to you peeps out there: has anyone done this--switched from the pill to the diaphram? any advice on how to make the transition a smooth one? i am nervous about the switch and want it to go as smoothly as possible--with no babies in my near future!

your feedback would be greatly appreciated =)

Do women reach a "sexual peak" time and, if so, when is that time generally?

Hi everyone, I keep reading posts about masturbation and I can't help but think about it. Quite frankly it doesn't appeal to me, I've tried the meathods suggested in my last post, but nope nada. I don't think it's icky, it just doesn't appeal to me. Is this normal? Does anyone else feel this way?
