Heyy everyone, this is a real long shot because i've seen 6 doctors now and none of them can agree on what i have or more importantly, what to do about it!
Quite far into my 2nd pregnancy [around 7 months gone] i walked a hell of a lot and ran around after my toddler, totally wore myself out and started to bleed quite a bit. Ofcourse i was worried but not overly as i'd already bled 3 times in this pregnancy and each time it had been just a scare.
So i went to the toilet to take a quick check before calling my midwife, but found a growth coming from inside :( about the size of a cherry, maybe a tad bigger. VERY scary!
So i rang the hospital and went straight up, weeks later the dr's had given me different explanations, different stories and different ways of dealing with it.. all contradicting each other!
The very last dr i saw was a senior expert and she told me the growth would dissapear soon after childbirth if i exercised the area as you do after birth anyway.

My daughter has just turned one, and although less often, the problem still re-appears every now and then. It seems to fall out when i have been walking a lot or running.

Not idea what it is, can't find anything on the interenet. PLEASE HELP >_<

Does anyone have the Mirena iud? I've had it for 8 months now and I'm really worried about the 1 year mark because of the complications a lot of people have. Especially since of the 5 girls I work with only 3 of them haven't had any complications. Am I paranoid of should I be wary because of the risks with an iud?

I feel incredibly embarrassed asking this, but in addition to googling I was wondering if anyone had first had experiences with this. There are a couple of stains in my back seat that are the product of both my boyfriend and I going at it like horny teenagers. The problem with this is that it has left stains from a combination of both girl and boy cum on the seat. It tends to slip out faster than I can catch it after sex...

So, what I would like to know is if anyone has advice on how to clean them? Any first hand experience? I really need to remove them. Thanks in advance!

Hi all, long time lurker first time poster yadda yadda yadda. I'm sure tons of questions like these have been answered but I don't know who else to ask and everyone I have asked/everywhere I have searched hasn't helped.

I have a gyno appt on Monday and its my first one. Its due to irregular periods/cramps that I faint from/cysts and more. Well my period showed up for the first time in 3 months and so I called the clinic and they said to still come in since it would be impossible to rebook around it.

I'm fine with the exam itself, but what the hell do I do about my period?!?! I can imagine a tampon would be clean but wouldn't coincide with the "no sex, douche etc 24 hours before". So should I wear a pad and be all messy?? How would that work?

Please help.

I just poured my heart out to my doctor's answering service, oops...

I have the Paragard but because my periods are long and very heavy (and potentially causing other things to happen), I'm to start Yaz on the first day of my period (per dr). Problem is I don't know when it technically starts. I usually have brown discharge for up to a week and then I bleed very heavily for 4 or 5 days, followed by perhaps another week of the discharge.

Is this discharge "spotting"? Do I count the first day of this as my period, or when I start to bleed? Halp! The discharge just started today.

Thank you!

(sorry for the weird and random words, I had used the speech function on my phone to type this!)

Please forgive the dummy account, but this is a little embarrassing for me to post on my normal account. Also, I'm so sorry, but the tags wouldn't work for me.

I'm 22 years old, in a serious and monogamous relationship, and have been sexually active since I was 16. Despite having enjoyable sexual encounters, I have never reached orgasm. Never with oral, PIV, etc. It feels great but I never reach orgasm. Of course, I have no idea what it would feel like if I did, so I don't know if I'm getting close or not. My partner is willing to take all the time I need, but I tend to get frustrated and would rather get on with the main event.

All this being said, I've also never masturbated. Not due to lack of trying, though. I get myself fully comfortable, relaxed, and then I can't get turned on. This isn't a problem when I'm with my partner. I've tried using the bathtub, vibrators, fingers, etc, and nothing works. If my partner and I decide to masturbate mutually, I start off turned out because he's been touching me, but then as soon as I touch myself, I lose all of that turned on feeling.

Basically, I want to know how to turn myself on and reach orgasm on my own, so that I know how to get there during sex with a partner. Does anyone have any advice or similar experiences? I don't have anyone to talk to about this in my life right now, but I know that the wonderful people at VP will be supportive and non-judgmental. Thank you in advance!

Anal sex

I realize I just posted today, but I have another question. I hope this is alright. I looked for similar posts, however I have a bit more information/questions surrounding mine.

I am really hoping to have anal sex with my boyfriend--it's sort of a Christmas present to both of us as we've both been wanting it for a bit. Now, what I would like to know are the risks of anal sex without a condom. First and foremost I should say that we are NOT going to go from anal to vaginal and that we are both free of STDs. I'm not letting him anywhere near that until he is cleaned. What is the best way he could clean himself after anal? Also, before anal I plan on giving myself an enema. We plan on using plenty of lube too (most likely Astroglide).

Now I have had anal sex with a partner before without a condom or an enema--and I got a yeast infection a couple of times. However, that person wasn't exactly cleanly and was a bit abusive so I'd prefer not to talk about that. I am however used to the aftermath of having to death with sperm after ejaculation so that isn't really a problem.

Basically I want to know the risks and whether an enema is effective at preventing some of them. I have one last question as well--is it possible for women to orgasm from anal sex? Any first had experiences? Thanks.

Greetings, fellow Superstars! As you probably know, from time to time the VP Team makes posts on behalf of people who wish to remain anonymous or who do not have LJ accounts. This is one such post.

Also, this is a trigger warning: Please note that the post mentions disordered eating. If you choose to join in the conversation, please remember to honor VP's safe space and keep it supportive and respectful.

Thanks in advance for your usual awesome and helpful comments. :)

So this may be just paranoia, but I guess better safe than sorry, right?

Okay, so I was trimming up my bikini line and all of that good stuff, and I happened to noticed a larger dark spot below my vagina (kinda on the inside of my butt cheek? Yeah, yeah, I know). It's an oval shape a little bigger than the size of a dime, it looks like a very large mole. I am really not sure what it is or why it's there.... I just know it's not really 'normal' so to say. Do you have any idea what it is or what I should do? I'm a little bit of a hypochondriac so I tend to worry. :}

And one more little thing, I'm in the process of recovering from an eating disorder, and as I started slowly increasing my calorie intake, my periods stopped. I haven't had one in about 3-5 months, and I've never missed a period since I started about 4 years ago. I don't know if it could be due to the disorder and if my body weight is too low or something else entirely. I'm 5"7 and weigh around 110 so it's nothing extreme or anything, so I really don't understand why. Do you have any suggestions for what it could be?

Thank you oodles and oodles and bunches and bunches. :)

Hey lovely VPers! I have a question and I just can't seem to find the right combination of words in order to find an answer via google. I'm usually very strict about always using two forms of contraception, so I've never really had a pregnancy scare. And I think I might just be paranoid.

So the situation: I've been on TriNessa for forever. I had PIV sex on the 6th day of my placebo pack (last Thursday), which was also the third day of my 4-day withdrawal bleeding. My boyfriend was only in me for like 30 seconds max and then pulled out. (My nerves can't handle pulling out, I'm definitely an HBC + condoms girl.) But he came fairly quickly after, so now I'm freaking out thinking he might've gotten some inside me before he pulled out.

Now the kicker is, in my infinite stupidity, I forgot that I didn't have any refills for my HBC and because my doctors office was closed for the next 4 days (it was Thanksgiving weekend), I didn't get my prescription refilled until the following Wednesday. 5 days late! Gah!

I know that sperm can live in the system for a few days. So I suppose my question is what's the likelihood I got pregnant if I had sex during my withdrawal bleeding/my HBC placebo week and he pulled out, but I didn't start my next pack on time?

Actually I guess the real questions are how long does sperm really live inside of a person? Does a person start ovulating as soon as they are finished their pack or does it vary from person to person? What's the likelihood of getting pregnant during withdrawal bleeding? And is there a Birth Control for Dummies-type site?!

I'm more curious than worried, I've been oddly fascinated by birth control recently! Thanks in advance. :)

This is a long term problem I have had ever since I was a virgin. One side of my clitoris is very painful to the touch. When I first discovered the problem, about a year ago, there was a inflammed bump where the pain was, and upon seeing a doctor, was tested negative for all STDs. I was given antibiotics which got rid of the bump, but the pain remained. I have attempted to pull back the clitoral hood and scrape it (very painful procedure) and there was no smegma. (The strange thing is my glans is always exposed unless I manually pull the hood to cover it).

I feel like I have tried everything to figure out the problem. I am not certain whether this is a sensitivity issue that is unfixable, or whether it's some form of vulvovaginitis, or something else. Oral sex and clitoral stimulation are not pleasurable because the pain is unbearable. Doctors have been puzzled as much as I have so I am taking it to this community. Any one experience this, and any advice to deal with it? Thankyou.
