Is there any way that grey hair can be related to depo? Neither of my parents who are in their mid-50s have grey hair (or at least if they do, it's only a few strands that I can't even remember them having), my maternal grandmother barely had any grey too. My brother and sister don't as well. I am only 24, just graduated with an MA (in Women's Studies), and I am on my first shot of Depo (2nd to be taken Feb 2). The depo is the only NEW thing I've introduced into my body. Stress has never made my hair turn grey, as I have an anxiety disorder and have taken the same meds for almost a year now, so that isn't it. What is going on???

I know there's some out there. I know about Trannywood Pictures and Buck Angel. I've done digging through xtube, and there's a few clips of transmen and transwomen, which is really nice, when you think about it... except for the jerkwads who "ew" and "that's gross". Know where I can find some... free?

So about 35 days ago I stopped the HBC pill. [Femcon Fe, to be specific] I was afraid I'd have trouble starting my period naturally because I hadn't even gotten one 90% of the time on the pill... however, low and behold I received a New Years gift: My very own period. I didn't even know to expect it... though the bf and I went away for New Years and while packing I noticed I looked a bit bloated, so on a whim, I threw some tampons in my bag....surprise, I guess I have women's intuition. The thing is, I'm out of my mind!! I didn't really have intense PMS on the pill, not extra mean, moody, emotional... but for the past two days since I got my period, I have been a beast. Crying, snapping at my boyfriend, uptight, anxious as all hell, over sensitive. I know it's to be expected but I truly don't know how to calm myself down or let things roll off my back. How do you deal with intense PMS/moody swings? I'm afraid I'm scaring my boyfriend!!

Also, last night we had some condom difficulty [we have sex while I'm on my period, though usually with a condom.] I have HSV2, but haven't had an outbreak in a long time. We pulled the condom off so he could finish... he pulled out and didn't get any cum inside me at all... plus, I'm on my period. I know, I know, we're not real smart, but not finishing was not an option. Since I'm on my period, what do you think the chances for pregnancy are?

Hi all...

A long time ago (it seems), I wrote in regards to a rather large mole on my vulva.  At the time, I had gone to a fancy spa-like dermatologist who glanced at it for 5 seconds and said, "Yep! Let's take it off."  She then told me it would be $800.  I thought that seemed a little unreasonable, so I called another dermatology clinic and they told me that mole removal and biopsy typically cost $300.  I told them I wanted them to look at a mole on my vulva and tell me whether or not it should be removed.  I went in and the very nice, very thorough doctor examined me.  I explained to him that atypical nevi (basically, big moles that often cause alarm but are actually very harmless) run in my family, and that I'd had all of these moles on my vulva for a long time, including the one in question.  He told me (surprise!) that it was actually a cluster of smaller moles--not one giant mole--and because I had similar moles on my back and shoulders, and because it wasn't hurting, changing colors, etc., I should just leave it alone and keep an eye on it.  He assured me removal was NOT necessary at this time, and that I should come back in a year for another check-up, because I do have the atypical nevi that need to be monitored.

So that sounds good, right?

So here's my problem...I'm SO TERRIFIED of cancer that I can't keep my hands off of that area, and now it HURTS.  I look at it two or three times a day in the mirror, and that entire part of my vulva intermittently aches and stings.  It's gotten to the point that I can't wear pants OR underwear, so I'm having to go commando in long skirts (in winter!).  I know it's because I'm constantly pressing on it, prodding it, etc,, and also because there's a skin tag right next to the mole that gets irritated if touched too much.

I don't know what I'm asking, but I guess it's just that the area keeps aching and hurting, and maybe I'm looking for some sort of reassurance that it's really not cancer--it's just pain I've caused.  I've been poking at it ever since my appointment (which was weeks ago).  I'll stop for a day, but then I'll start back up, so I think I'm just not letting it heal.  Is the labial skin/muscle/tissue/etc. around the opening of the vagina very sensitive?  If I leave it alone, how long should I wait for it to stop hurting before I start freaking out again?

I know this seems bizarre and terribly OCD.  It's not even the mole that hurts!  I can press on it, pinch it, etc. and it causes very minimal pain--probably because I've bruised the muscles and whatnot by my constant poking.  I just have this bizarre fear that there's cancer hidden under my skin and I don't know it.  Has anyone ever been in this position (with any part of their body) and can anyone offer comfort?

Is there anything I can do to make it heal faster?  Obviously, not poking at it is a start!  It seems like the more I think about it, the more it hurts.  It hurts to walk, and it throbs when I sit with my legs crossed.  What a dumb mess I've made of myself!  It was perfectly fine until I went to the doctor.  So much for getting reassurance...

Thanks so much for bearing with this ridiculous post.

I'm just wondering, how likely is it to get an STD from fingering? And how necessary is it to wear gloves for this kind of activity?

Personally, I'm not big on using gloves (I think I'd prefer the sensation of warm hands. Ha.), but I'd use them if necessary.

So y'all have been really helpful and supportive, and now i ask something kinda odd... Anyone know any fun positions? Missonary, Doggy, me on top, and the T are the oonly ones we've tried really... I know that theres LOTS more then JUST those, so any tips to make those more fun or any new fun positions that have actually been a lot of fun? Stories are welcomed if you want to share. Thanks in advance! XP

Sex

My boyfriend and I had sex 3 times yesterday. This was the first time we had actual, real sex, where he ejaculated and everything. My vagina was awfully sore afterwards. That's normal, right? Also, should I start birth control? Am I supposed to go to the gynecologist for a check-up, or anything like that?

Hey All,

So recently I had to give a urine sample (My calcium levels were higher than normal in a blood test awhile back, so doc was looking to see if there was evidence of kidney stones in my urine) and when I called back to find out the results, I found out that my (calcium levels were back to normal) urine had trace blood in it. They had me wait two weeks to give another urine sample because I was pretty close to having my period and I guess sometimes that can make it look like there is blood in the urine.

My urine had been a normal color but had been cloudy on and off, though I didn't really think much of it. I've had two UTIs in the past and even though both had somewhat different symptoms, it was pretty obvious that they were UTIs. Besides the trace blood and cloudy urine, I hadn't gone through any other symptoms like pain, bad smell or not being able to pee or anything along those lines.

My second urine sample resulted in having no growth but still trace blood.

Has anyone else had a UTI that somehow flew under the radar? Anyone else have anything like this?

On Monday I am going to make a follow-up appointment with my doctor to see what the next step is. but just curious to anyone else's experiences?

I just started taking the mini pill for the second time since combination pills make my blood pressure go up no matter how low the estrogen is. Last time I took this I took it around the same time everyday, it was always within a 30 minute time period and I was constantly spotting.I think I only got one, maybe 2 real periods the 6 months I was on it. This time around I have been taking my pills within 5 minutes of the same time everyday and I was wondering if this would make my period stop completely. Has anyone here taking this and had it stop their period or was it wacky the whole time? I always hear mixed things about this and am curious about other people's experiences.

Yoga & Sex

An article from MSNBC, for your reading entertainment:
Yogis have better sex, study finds
For the link-phobic, the basic gist of the article is that a study found that, for women, developing the yogic component of mindfulness helped women achieve improved levels of sexual arousal and desire as well as better orgasms. The results of another study showed that yoga benefited men who'd had problems with premature ejaculation.

Thoughts?

Mine are under the cut. )

So, not necessarily what the article is getting at, but also not necessarily untrue.

There has to be something wrong with me.  I've had my period for going on four weeks now.  It's terrible, it's coming out quickly and in clots and everything.  Just when I think it's done it starts back up again, and it's terribly painful.  No, I haven't had sex just in case anyone asks.  What are some possibilities?

Also, I have my first gyno appt on Jan 15th to get on birth control, but I'm also having a full exam.  I don't know what to expect.  I'd also like to know what kind of birth control you guys recommend and I should ask for?

I'm so naive. :/

EDIT: I'm fifteen if that helps.  And I've had my period for about two years so I don't think it's just regulating.

So I know there are about 5 million yeast infection posts here a day
and a lot of them having to do with antibiotics
well here's my deal
I have a pretty constant low grade yeastie
I am for an unknown amount of time taking 100 mg of minocycline twice a day for a very severe rare case of rosacea (specifically rosacea fulminans http://rosacea.derm.net.au/rosacea-stages/rosacea-variations/rosacea-fulminans.html) which if you're clickphobic is a rare debilitating disfiguring form of rosacea
so the antibiotics are pretty necessary and fairly long term
however this means my vag is not happy
i've been rinsing with a acv water mix which helps some but I need more relief
tea tree oil or the acv has always helped me in the past but it's just not quite cutting it this time
also because I take the antibiotics twice a day and I have a phenomenally busy schedule I tried taking probiotics but it's just proved impossible
I eat yogurt however and I'm super short on cash at the moment but if it's something that will work I will be happy to part with money
but it's just so hard when I'm taking the antibiotics and I can't really take probiotics (basically I take the antis morning and night and I'm not home in the afternoons and I don't have a place to keep the pros refrigerated during the days because I'm on the move too much)
sorry if this is scattered but my vag just needs help!

I know cotton panties are the best thing you can do, when it comes to underwear, but I recently started wondering if lycra might be just as good. I own some lycra panties and thongs, and the fabric dries very fast, which would lead me to believe that it breathes well. Thoughts?

Ok, so this isn't necessarily about my lady bits, but it is related in a way.  I broke up with my boyfriend of almost 4 years back in July. When we first started having sex, it was like almost 2, sometimes 3 times a day 4-5 days a week.  At the end of the relationship before we broke up, it was almost maybe once a month, but believe me, I wanted it ALLLLLLL the time... just not necessarily with him.   I used to watch porn and masterbate every now and again.   Now that I have broken up with him, I find myself disassociated with everyone.  I never stop to think if so-and-so is attractive or not.  No one is attractive to me anymore. The idea of having sex with anyone anytime soon is out of the question.  It just doesn't appeal to me. but now, I have no sex drive whatsoever.  I still feel sad that such a long relationship ended, but I know I don't want him back.  I want to move on and try new things.  I try to get myself in the mood by associating touch or watching some porn, but it does nothing for me and I just give up.  The obvious answer to me is that I am still not over my ex.  I haven't physically seen him or talked time in over 4 months, and I have even tried to date new people, but to no avail.  I want to be over him so much and move on to better things. Have any of you out there had a spell of asexuality?  How did you overcome this?  I am also taking celexa to overcome depression.

Hey everyone, I posted before about a mystery affliction.

I had yellow discharge that smelled like feet, with no pain or itching of any kind. I am not sexually active and I don't use tampons. I also do not use soap/detergent with scent or use scented products. I'm also not on birth control and never have been and I take no medications at all, except for the occasional ibuprofen.

I've had three wet smears done, all came back normal. No yeast, no bacterial vaginosis, no trich.

The pap came back normal.

I do not have gonorrhea or chlamydia.

It has been suggested that I use a vinegar and water douche, which previously I hadn't wanted to do, because I worried that it could mask a larger problem, but since the big question of cancer is out of the way, I think it's worth a shot. Holy run-on sentences, Batman!

Does anyone have any idea what this might be, or have a recipe for the douche? I looked through the archives, but didn't find any actual recipes.

Thank you!
