I just got the Depo this past Thursday (the 2nd). I got it on my arm, because I don't like showing my ass (hah big mistake now). But how long until the soreness goes away? I can't even lift my arm =/.

For awhile now, my boyfriend and I have been trying to get me to experience the clitoral orgasm. We have had only mild success, thanks to digital action- especially on this one specific area. Today, my vagina was feeling a bit tender in this certain spot, so I decide to take a mirror to it and have a look. Pulling aside the clitoral hood, I see this little bump... I give it a rub, and OH MY! I think I found THE SPOT! At first I thought perhaps it was a pimple of some sorts, but I gave it some more rubbing and could see how it enlarged. Not to mention, I was feeling quite turned on. I think with enough action we can get me to have the full out orgasm.

Anyway, I just wanted to share my joy! I am beyond excited to try this new discovery out with my boyfriend, too bad that shall not be happening for a few weeks.

Then the G-spot orgasm is next

I had sex last Thursday and I think my boyfriend gave me a yeast infection? Is this possible?

It's like itching but it doesn't really burn and i'm not noticing any discharge like you guys are always saying.. I don't have that white discharge. I'm worried it's something else and i'm freaking out. I haven't done anything for it yet, like I haven't taken any medicine for it yet. Do Cranberry pills work for this or no? Should I go see the gyno?

Question behind here for anyone thats ever had a miscarriage )

I have an external Yeast Infection and my gyno prescribed, a cream for it. The cream is SCENTED!! Not only is it this horrible old-lady-perfume-scent, but isn't anything scented bad to use on my vulva? Should I use it or not? I couldn't believe I would be prescribed, something scented for my vulva from a doctor!

-also does anyone know why in general vulva's are a different color than the rest of skin? I was looking at the Every day vulva's and noticed that most are pinker or darker.

howdy friends. im new here. and i figured what better way to introduce myself then to ask for help. i have a conundrum.
here goes:
me and my boyfriend have been dating for 3 months now and we're both STD free. last night we had pretty rough sex. its fairly apparent through the bruises and yadda yadda but after wards i was bleeding really bad. it got all over his sheets and pillow cases. in addition, i wasnt necessarily "bleeding" but if i stuck my hand up my vagina blood would come out. it wasnt period blood or light spotting. it was pretty heavy blood. it was even there this morning. theres no other symptoms that would make me suspicious like burning or itching or abnormal discharge. this is the first time the bleeding has happened. and weve had sex loads of times before, even sometimes rough. but for the majority of the time we had sex he was fingering me a lot. and he said he got 4 fingers. im just wondering if that has anything to do with it. or if its the fact tha tiwa s rough. OR if its some type of disease? STD? tumors? i dont know. anything.

thanks so much. im worrying my brains out.

For the past month or so I've had an odd sensation in my nether regions. You know how if you cross your legs and sit funny for too long you feel kind of tingly between the legs? It's not itching or burning and I smell and taste normal, in otherwords I've got no symptoms of a yeast infection (and it would be impossible for me to have any kind of STI/STD), so I'm wondering if the odd faintly tingly senesation is my having incrediably acidic discharge. I've been taking vinegar salt baths to try to mellow out my PH but to no avail. It's not like it really bothers me, but I was wondering if anyone shares this odd state of being or has any sggestions for how to make it go away. Is it being really acidic, or did I unknowingly by underwear that is too small or did I mildly irritate some kind of vagina goddess (although it isn't my vagina so much as the labia/clit area.? I did wonder if it was an incrediably mild yeast beast because I sometimes get little white specks of excess...dead tissue? mucus? whathave you? But compairing these specks to the cottage cheese chunks of a yeast infection would be like compairing fleas to elephants so...any thoughts?

Also, I've never had any kind of discomfort using vingar to balance out my PH, but when I was taking a vinegar salt bath earlier today I jilled off in the bath which was not really the most lubricated experiance ever, seeing as how water kind of makes things not slick, but when I poured a little straight vinegar right onto my girl parts it kind of stung. Would this just be from already kind of irritating myself with a less than wet jilling and maybe there were some little abraisions the vinegar worked itself into?

Hi everyone, I'm pretty new here. I think this is my first time posting, in fact.
Diane-35 question. )

hey ladies
i think i have a yeast infection but i'm not sure. i'm sorry to be asking this when i'm sure its asked about a bajillion times.
i dont have any abnormal discharge or smell though so i'm a bit worried/confused.
i'm just very very itchy. this started probably about 2 weeks ago, it then stopped completely when i had my period last week. i had protected sex a few days ago (thinking i was fine cuz i hadn't had any itchiness in a while) and now its back.
there is also a small cut at the top (where on this diagram with the pretty multicolored pubic hair [haha what?] it is labeled anterior commisure of labia minora) that gets irritated when rubbed and bleeds slightly (but never very much).

i don't have access to a gyno right now or else i would go to them.

so if this is a yeast infection, what is the best product to use?

and just out of curiosity, how long does a yeast infection go on if untreated?

Ive read many different questions but nothing quite hits one my problem so unless it has been asked, here goes:

The last 2 weeks or so, when Ive had sex with my boyfriend (we've been together about 4 months and have been having sex roughly every few days since we got together), every few times we make love, when he goes inside of me everything is fine but then at a point, I get this weird pain like right below my stomach/above my uterus. This isnt me bragging but my boyfriend is close to about 10 inches and pretty wide and Im very short (only 5'1") and he seems to think that he might be hitting a wall or something that he shouldnt be. Now Im not the wettest person and we do sometimes use lube but that has never really been a problem. Well when he enters me sometimes we have to go very slow because I never stretch and am extremly tight so it take a minute or so for me to get comfortable. Then we never have a problem but then the other day (like 2 weeks ago) as we were about to finish I got that wierd pain. It feels like I have an upset stomach but if we just stay still for a minute or he withdraws Im fine. Anyone have any clue what I mean? Any advice would be great

What is the generic form of Yasmin? Ive been on Yasmin for nearly three years, but I ran out before I could get into see my new doctor. Also... I do not think I can afford it. Is there a generic that would be cheaper?

I just got diagnosed with chlamydia. The only reason I even knew to go get it looked at was that I had bleeding when being fingered with the partner I am currently with. It has happened from the beginning, (last August) but the bleeding got worse as of late, so I went in. The partner I was with before never fingered me, nor was he large enough to have hit my cervix during intercourse. I had cheated on that partner in the summer of 2002. Is it possible that I have carried this for years, and not known it?

I've had odd pains in my side, that came and went, but no one ever knew what they were. I had a routine exam last November, but it's possible it wasn't caught. At any rate, I'm not ruling OUT my current partner, but it's just odd that there has always been the bleeding with him. Oh, and we have only had intercourse once--the rest of the time has just been oral. Any thoughts?

This might be too personal, but I just have to ask anyway..

Thanks a bunch for any information!

ok. i have a problem and i am very scared and embarassed about it.

a couple inches (about 4) into my vagina, there is some sort of lump on the left side of one of the walls. whenever i try to insert anything too far up there i get a sharp pain as soon as it runs into the lump. this gives me problems inserting tampons, as well as being sexual in any way that involves insertion.

i have no clue what this is. but i assume i have always had it. i have known about it for a couple of years and it hasn't grown at all that i can tell.

does anyone have any idea what this is or could be? i really should go to a doctor but i am pretty young(16), can't drive, don't have any money, and live alone with my dad. i also have no older siblings or relatives that could take me to a doctor.

i really just don't know what to do, here. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Clear fluid

I have been encountering a strange phenomenon when I wear tampons lately. Especially towards the end of my cycle. I will have rushes of discharge of thin, clear, odorless fluid from my vagina. It is not urine and it is not menstrual blood or mucous. It only happens when I'm wearing a tampon, and it can be enough to soak my panties (or, pantiliners--I have wised up and started wearing them during this time). I'm 31 and don't remember this happening until the last year or so. Any wisdom? It isn't so much worrisome as it is bothersome. Thanks!

I believe I had a Yeast Infection. I read a bunch of the symptoms and the usual burning and itching thing came up, which were my two symptoms, I too didn't have discharge (I am guessing you can have a couple but don't have to have them all.) I was looking around for homeopathic remedies cause I have no money to pay for prescriptions or pay for over the counter drugs that may or may not work.

On one site I found they listed the use of tea tree oil, which is an anti-fungal agent, and is also an antiseptic also, so I used it in the following way in a sink full of hot water I ppoured plain bath carrier which should be found I guess in most drug stores or homeopathic stores. It mustn't be scented so as not to make a problem any worse than it already is. into that I poured 10 -15 drops of tea tree oil. it must be diluted so because too much will be a case of making the problem worse. I then washed with this solution.

I found that the above worked in a really great way, the symptoms of what was probably the start of a yeast infection disappeared like almost instantly, had had me sitting uncomfortably is gone and has left me feeling normal once more. I will keep up the washing with it for a little while, but I am very optimistic this has solved what could be an expensive proble (Is expensive to me)

Hi y'all~

If you haven't already heard, LJ is having a not oft seen permanent account sale on Tuesday, June 7th for twenty-four hours.

The industrious and wise [livejournal.com profile] ihatepavel sent us an email suggesting that we hold a fund raiser to get [livejournal.com profile] vaginapagina a permanent account. That way we'd never have to worry about raising money for paid account status again. And we'd be PERMANENT!

So, we're asking for donations. Any amount would be great, even a dollar would help the cause. We figure we can get to $150 by Tuesday no problemo! For the sake of simplicity (and a rapidly approaching deadline), we're going to be doing this through Paypal. As soon as we reach our goal I will make an announcement so that we don't go over, and anyone who donates after the $150 mark will get a refund (and a profuse "THANK YOU!")Also, if we don't make the $150 mark, we'll either apply the money to paid account time or refund it, depending on the wishes of the individual donor.

If you like, we'll list you on the user info page as a donor, so you'll be forever memorialized in vp history. Just leave your username in a comment with you donation.

So, if you've got a few bucks to spare and feel like it's worth it to guarantee vp's permanent status, go to Paypal and send it to:

slackjaw73@msn.com

I'll keep you posted as to the status as we go.

As always, viva la vulva,
Sasha
on behalf of the vp team
