I'm wondering if any of you girls have this...

Looking at my girly bits in a mirror today I noticed that I have a dark pink line that resembles a scar going from my anus up my butt crack about three inches.

Now, I've been diagnosed with constipation, and do have issues with bowel movements. Often I get tares in my rectum, small ones, that result in burning when I poop, and sometimes a TINY tiny pinpoint of blood on toilet paper. I'm assuming because the ructum sometimes gets beat up like this, that the healing process causes itching.

My butt also sweats a lot, and with that also comes itching, since I get pretty damp in the crack-area.

I'm wondering if this scar-like thing I've got is from the itching, or if that's normal?... I admit I haven't looked down there with a mirror in over a year, even then I don't recall paying attention to my butt, just my vagina. I HIGHLY DOUBT it's pinworms, because I only itch after the situations I listed above, or when I'm thinking about it.

Any ideas?

I just have few concerns about the morning after pill, and here they are. )

i hope this is considered appropriate....

a very close friend of mine was just diagnosed with uterine cancer. i have endo myself, so i've done some research on uterine cancer and from what i understand it is very, very rare. wish is odd, because she is the second girl i know under 25 to be diagnosed.

so she sees a dr. today and will get more info on what stage she is in, if it's spread, ect. she has had a large cyst on her cervix for a few years now and i kept telling her to see a dr. i wish i would have ridden her a little harder, but no one can turn back the clock. her sister had endo, so we kinda just assumed thats what it was...

so what i'm wondering is if there are any girls in hear who have suffered and survived from uterine cancer? any uplifting stories you can share with me? anything at all would be appreciated...

and if there is anyone out there at all who has something wrong with them and you're putting off going to the dr. please for the love of god just make an appointment! please!

It's not pill related, FYI.

My FWB/best friend/pseudo-boyfriend and I were fooling around again last night, and once again, I bled. A lot. It's like, he can't even be slightly rough without this happening. I am always plenty wet when he fingers me, and this hasn't happened with intercourse. Just digital penetration. He's really good about it, but it's starting to take a toll on my underwear, and he's not vampiric--he's not so much into the taste of blood. (but he does very nicely tolerate it, for me) We've discussed this several times, he tries not to hit my cervix, or be excessivly rough (which sucks, as I enjoy it rough). When we first started doing this, it wasn't as much of a problem, it happened on occasion, but not all the time like now. I never had this happen with anyone else, and so I just don't know why this is. Do you think it is worthy of getting checked out at Planned Parenthood?

Thanks.

Okay, so I know how important it is to take your pill at the same time everyday if you're taking it for birth control purposes. But what if you're only taking it to control an out of control period? I'm not sexually active and will be starting on the pill soon. How much does it matter that I take it at the same time every day? Just wondering if it made a difference, since I'm not trying to prevent pregnancy.

Hi, I'm new to this community and joined because I'm interested in becoming more aware and active in terms of my own health as a woman.

I recently came across this article and am wondering whether I should take it seriously. I've been on the Pill for 4 years, and am considering coming off because I'm worried about being on a hormonal treatment for so long.

(Consider this an update on my
previous dilemma.
)

The moodiness has definitely been the worst part. It's quite unbearable. I am positive it's the pills. As I said, I'm on Ortho-Lo, and it's got its good points and its bad points. I've decided that I'm not too keen on waiting a few months to see if it evens itself out. I'm going to call my gyno and ask her about switching pills. Now I've just got to find an acne-helping, not-weight-gaining, yeast-infection-free pill! Thank you to all the ladies who helped me out. <333333!

confused.

I finally got my free samples of OB tampons in the mail yesterday!

But there is one problem.

Ive never gotten a tampon inside of me before. I dont know where to insert the tampon [I know it goes inside your vagina]. I dont know how far back it should be or how high up it should go either. My mom doesnt seem to understand what I mean so Im turning to the next best thing, 6000 other women.

Help?

Okay this question doesn't actually have to do with any physical malady, but I don't know where else to ask this question. I know people have weird sexual fantasies. . . )

Hmm

I have another question. I was reminded of this from a comment on here. Certain times in the month I can stick my finger inside my vagina and feel this hard knobby thing sticking down. I can run my finger around it. Would that be my cervix decending orrr..what? My gyno says he hasnt seen anything abnormal...maybe my cervix moves lower than most? Nothing abnormal going on really just...that. Im not alarmed I just think its kinda odd.

Ookay, this is going to be another one of those "OMG I totally need to know how to delay/trigger my period!", but bear with me. Today I got my period(it was supposed to come yesterday). I went onto www.cyclespage.com and entered the date, and realized that next month, my period will probably come the 25th. No biggie, right? Well, my boyfriend is coming to visit me June 28th, and well, we plan to be physically intimate. However, I know that usually my period is a few days or even a week late, which would cause it to come when he's there, which means he has to put up with me being bitchy and grumpy because of cramps, and we won't get to have sex(period sex doesn't appeal to me). I know that drinking parsley tea a few days before your period is supposed to come can trigger its arrival, but I really don't know how to make it. I've researched it on the web, and no one seems to give a recipe. Also, are there any other things/herbs/medicines that can trigger your period to come early?

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. :)

I've seen people on here talking about how they have unusually high levels of testosterone, so I figured it stands to reason one can also have naturally higher estrogen levels. Anyone heard of this, and know what kind of effects it has?

I have seriously had my period for 3 straight weeks now and it is still heavy, like it was the first day. I don't know what to do anymore.. And the worst part is, is that I'm not actually supposed to be on my period and I'm really supposed to get it tomorrow. If I bleed anymore, I don't know what I am going to do! Not only is being on your period constantly extremely annoying, but also very expensive!

What is wrong with me?!?!?! And how can I make it stop?

Grr, it's times like these where I wish I had a penis.

all right, i have decided this is my last ring. after this month, i am no longer going to be using the nuva ring (to see if my sex drive comes back).

is there anyone here who was on the ring for more than a year and found that their sex drive increased when they stopped?

also, do your boobs go back to their original size? mine went from a b to a small c... it's not that much, but i like it. not that i won't be happy with them if they go back, i'm just wondering.

I was wondering if anyone in this community is in the Seattle area and can reccomend a good waxer...

I've never been waxed before but shaving is just getting on my nerves, plus I'd like to reduce the risk of ingrown hairs. If anyone has heard of a great waxer in the area or can personally reccomend one, that's be great. I get weird around having strangers down there (i.e. the gyno) but so many people rave about waxing that I'd like to try it.

Thanks for the help!

Has anyone else found that sometimes after clitoral stimulation or orgasm, their clitoris-area becomes kind of itchy? But it goes away soon enough?

This always happens to me. I'm curious.

Thanks! =)
