More Alternative Menstrual Products

Does anyone have any experience with these reusable baby-sock tampons?  I found the link in the memories, but I wasn't sure if anyone had tried it:

Also, I just found out about these Beppy Action tampons - they're like sea sponge tampons, only synthetic, and they're single-use.  You can use them during intercourse (I'm weaning myself off of Insteads because I'm getting an IUD soon).  They're a similar concept to those Gynotex tampons, but those aren't available in the US.  Has anyone seen these in the US, or know of a company that ships them to the US?:

One last question:  What sort of detergent do you ladies use to wash cloth pads?  I know it's best to use a gentle detergent that's hypoallergenic.  Any recommendations?

I have them, be careful as they do have a short life but I do love them so!
