clitoral hood piercing

Hey quick question --

I'm getting my hood pierced (probably a horizontal piercing, but if not, then a vertical), and I was wondering if anyone else has done this and how much it would generally cost. So far, it looks to be about $60 but I haven't checked anywhere yet.

Also wondering if there is any pain during sex if you do it too soon after or, really, at any time. I know everyone says it makes sex feel better and that you can start having sex again right away, but all that pressure on a new wound just doesn't sound like a good idea. Thanks :)

Yeah, my partner is STD free and I would be worried about that sort of thing. I think I would at least wait a week.

I just remember one of their experience involving a grrrl who either triggered her first herpes outbreak or caught it from her boyfriend after getting a hood piercing.

And they also have modblog, which contains ALOT of really awesome (free) pics, though some of it is extreme mod stuff (amputation, nullification, and other things that might squick people out).

Both things you said were scary ;) I would hate to have a herpes outbreak due to a piercing or from my partner right after one. Ahhh. And also, extreme body mods freak me out.

lol, ok. I'm super openminded about mods. I plan to have my tongue split and stuff, so nothing really freaks me out. But the herpes thing is scary x2.

It's all good if you like mods, I think the ones that freak me out the most are probably scarring, only because I really hate pain and blood. *cringe*

Yeah, herpes is kinda scary. I get a bit afraid of things that don't go away (like STD's you can't get rid of with antibiotics).

And I can totally understand you not digging pain or blood, most people don't. I happen to, which is a good thing, since alot of my mods will involve alot of both.

Yeah. Of all the things STD-related I'm scared of herpes is in the top three (HPV and HIV are the other two).
