Alright, here's the deal. I started my period at 16, and it became regular pretty quickly, and I haven't missed a period since then. Now, I'm about 2 weeks late.
To answer the obvious.. No I'm not pregnant cause I haven't had sex, or any relations with men, in almost a year. So, that's just not possible.
I want to know what are all the reasons a period can be missed? I've heard stress can do so, and I've been under stress a lot lately, but it's been constant stress for a long long time, it hasn't really been getting less or worse so far as I can tell so my period was fine, until this month.
I've been timing my period and I'm usally on a 29-30 day cycle. I was supposed to get it the first few days of this months. But, obviously I haven't.
A little help would be nice if you please. Before I go berzerk thinking something is horribly wrong with me. I got all the warning signs that I was about to get my period, but that was it. I got the mild outbreak of acne, and now the acne is going away, and it doesn't do that until my period is over.
:falls over:

Date: 2006-07-16 02:32 pm (UTC)I usually forget about my period for a while, but every so often something will bring it to mind. What did it today was when I saw my acne was going down.
I would go to my doctor, but I have no insurance and no money to pay for a visit. This basicly means "No doctor for you!"
I just find it odd that I'd miss my period now, since the stress has been reletively the same for 6 months with no major ups or downs that I could think of.
I'm not exactly sure what qualifies for stress right now, so I can't tell if it's suddenly gotten worse.
I don't have panic attacks and I generally don't freak out either. So I just sort of chill and listen to music a lot and think.
I know it's normal to miss periods, it just bugs me because I don't know why I've missed mine.

Date: 2006-07-16 04:17 pm (UTC)My cycles have been very regular since I was about 16. During my last cycle I was over a week late for a reason unknown to me. I wasn't feel completely stressed, diet hadn't changed, no new medications, blah blah blah. It was just late.
