Alright, here's the deal. I started my period at 16, and it became regular pretty quickly, and I haven't missed a period since then. Now, I'm about 2 weeks late.

To answer the obvious.. No I'm not pregnant cause I haven't had sex, or any relations with men, in almost a year. So, that's just not possible.

I want to know what are all the reasons a period can be missed? I've heard stress can do so, and I've been under stress a lot lately, but it's been constant stress for a long long time, it hasn't really been getting less or worse so far as I can tell so my period was fine, until this month.

I've been timing my period and I'm usally on a 29-30 day cycle. I was supposed to get it the first few days of this months. But, obviously I haven't.

A little help would be nice if you please. Before I go berzerk thinking something is horribly wrong with me. I got all the warning signs that I was about to get my period, but that was it. I got the mild outbreak of acne, and now the acne is going away, and it doesn't do that until my period is over.

:falls over:

Stress can defintely have an impact on your period. Other things can also impact on it such as hormonal imbalances but that would be unlikely in your case (having regular periods for a long time). Have you been under stress lately? Stressing about when it will come will tend to make it come even later. Make sure your eating well and getting some exercise I'd try and wait it out but if it hasn't turned up in the next couple of weeks it can't hurt to get it checked out by a doctor.
And it definetley isn't a sign that something is terribly wrong with you. Our bodies aren't machines sometimes they don't always work they way we expect them too.

I know you said you sleep through most of the daylight hours but could Planned Parenthood be a possibility? Most PP's work on a sliding scale, you could ring to find out how much it will cost of if it will be free before you go. Here's a list of PP's in Mass. (I looked in your user info) - http://www.pplm.org/health_find.php

I wouldn't get too worried and try and get to PP just yet but maybe keep it in the back of your mind if your period goes AWOL for a while.

Weight loss could also impact on your period.

Weight loss, diet change, low fat intake, and increased exercise can all cause your period to alter or stop.

There are hundreds of reasons why your period could be late, missing, etc. If you are really worried, go see a dr.

My cycles have been very regular since I was about 16. During my last cycle I was over a week late for a reason unknown to me. I wasn't feel completely stressed, diet hadn't changed, no new medications, blah blah blah. It was just late.

same here. mine is regular for two years and then late here and there for a year. it goes back and forth, usually for no reason that i can see.
