Stinging lube

Hi. I'm a nineteen year old virgin who's been dating my also virgin boyfriend for about eight months. We've given it a lot of thought and we've decided to have sex with each other. We're in a long distance relationship right now, and I'm going to see him this Saturday and...yeah, very excited and nervous!

So I've been reading up on how to make it easier for me when I finally have sex with him. I read somewhere that it's good to get some lube, and do some penetration with your own fingers.

So I did get some lube, at this place at my college where they sell condoms and other forms of birth control for only a couple cents, really. (8 condoms for a dollar! YEAH!) They're unlubricated Lifestyle brand condoms, and the lube I got is called "Wet Light." But when I put it on myself it started to sting. Not so badly at first, but then after a moment or two it really started to sting, and I had to hop into the shower to rinse it off. Obviously, it wasn't a very pleasant experience, and I'd hate for something like it happen when we are finally able to get it on.

Another reason why I don't like this stuff, was because when the smell of the lube mixed with my natural scent, it reeked. Odorless my ass!

Does anyone know why it stings? It's not because of spermicides, because "Wet Light" contains none. And can anyone give me a name of another lube I can purchase, preferably one that doesn't sting and one that doesn't make me smell? And where? I have no idea where to get lube outside of that place on my school campus, and "Wet Light" was the only kind they had to offer.

well, I've never used lube before ... (yeah I know... wtf! I think I get very wet naturally!)

But as for the sting? Doubt it's supposed to do that. I've heard awesome stuff about KY and Astroglide, if you want to give them a shot. I know KY is available in Canada(if you live here) and the US but I am not sure about Astrolglide.
