Vitamin C and miscarrages

Fact or Fiction:

Overdoseing on Vitamin C causes you to miscarrage if you take it early enough in the pregnancy.

just out of curiosity, if your friend did it a week ago, how did she know that she miscarried? (i actually don't know too much about miscarriage.) is there a sharp pain and then immediate flow of blood?

she actually went to the ER because she was scared. She had massive bleeding, cramping and such. It was similar to her periods before she had her first child, but she hadn't had them in years and she used to go to the ER then because her mother was scared she was losing too much blood. They did a pregnancy test and said she had just miscarried.

BTW she followed the http://www.sisterzeus.com/Vit_C.htm link that was posted above. I forgot to link it earlier...because I am in PMS pain...which i find kinda funny...considering this post.
