How do you tell the difference between BV and a Yeast infection?
I had yeast about two years ago, but I'm not sure if I have it again...!
I'm experiencing slight itching and PAINful sex, but no discharge or anything.
Also, if someone could give me some tips on natural remedies?
I was thinking tea tree oil on a tampon and I know I've heard of garlic, but I don't eat it so there isn't
really any in my house...
Thanks a bunch.

Oddly enough I've found that while it stings a lot on the vulva, it doesn't inside. . . it just feels "minty." You're supposed to put it on a lubed tampon and then insert it with the applicator, avoiding vulvar contact.

Same here. I can't deal with dry tampons sucking out all my moistue, so I put some TT Oil inside gelcaps (same as is recommended with boric acid) and put the gelcaps inside, right before I go to bed. If I have a really bad YI and my labia are itchin' like mad, it does burn the labia if the gelcap melts and it leaks out..but usually if I lie down right away it doesn't have time to escape. :)

Great idea with the ta tree oil! I hav egel caps but the only boric acid powder I can find is the kind sold to kill roaches. . . I'm wary of putting that in me, although it only contains boric acid. Eeek.
