... under consideration for use in the US: nonsurgical permanent female sterilization, as opposed to tubal ligation. I'm interested in this becuase the older I get, the less I want to have children at all, so it is possible that at some point in the (not-immediate) future I'd consider this.

Date: 2002-04-30 07:48 am (UTC)... that said, I guess it's unfair to assume that's the reason they restricted the clinical trials. There could be a reason they only want people who have given birth (easier insertion etc?)... I just didn't see one in perusing article, so I am suspicious.
