Other fish in the sea?: Sexual Partners

Indirectly vagina related:
I'm in a really great relationship with my bf. We have been dating for over a year and its the most serious, stable relationship we've both been in. While he is my first serious relationship (first sex partner too) , he has had a bunch of girlfriends and many hookups prior to me. Even though our sex life and relationship are amazing, I can't help but wonder if I'm missing anything sexually ... if any other fish are out in the sea you know? I would never cheat on him, because I value what we have too much. I feel guilty for thinking this way, because what we have is so great... and we see us staying together for a long time.
Is this just a commitment issue on my part? Has anybody else felt like this before? What did you do about it?
Thanks so much in advance... I really feel like this community fosters nothing but empowerment and knowledge for everyone involved. VP rocks!
EDIT:
Thank-you all so much for taking the time out of your day to reply. I really appreciate all of the different perpectives I recieved. I actually printed out the responses and have been reading them all day... feels comforting to know that others have shared my way of thinking. Like I said before, this community is such an amazing resource and I'm not sure where I would be both sexually and spiritually without it. Thanks again everybody.
