Occasionally I get these blind pimples on my mons/vulva except they can be really painful. Especially so when I walk and after a week they usually just go away but I'm getting really worried about them now and I'm wondering if they're just pimples and I have nothing to worry about, or what? I was thinking that maybe it had something to do with stress? Because I am a virgin. I am unsure and freaking out.

Thanks for reading.

Alrighty, so.. for the past year, I have trimmed down there.. but for the past month, I decided to get a closer "shave". So I tried Veet's depilatory cream for sensitive skin, and I was wondering if it was normal that still, after doing it and leaving it on for 5-10 minutes, I still had hair (well.. 1-2 mm hair). Is this normal? Or is it supposed to be super smooth after I use the cream?

I was also wondering, what else can I do to get smooth skin down there?

I don't want to shave. I am open to other methods, but I can't stand pain very well. =S Which method works the best for you, and what do you reccomend?

I've been on Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo since April. Before that, I was on it for a year, had some insurance issues, and got back on it after a month with no BC.

But this time it feels different. One, I am getting really sucky at taking my pills at the same time every day. I've been forgetting a lot. My boyfriend mentions that I'm less eager to have sex, my smell has changed, and I've had more discharge during sex. This might be because of the pill, but this didn't happen last year.

I've been thinking about changing my BC for a while now, to something that's not a pill. What would you suggest I look into that relatively low in hormones?

And, if my changes haven't occurred because of the pill, what might it be?

I though some of you might be interested in this five minute video on how commercial disposable menstrual pads are made.

I thought the demonstration of absorbsion speeds was interesting. The other day a roommate and I discussed a couple unfortunate times when we, for whatever reason, had found ourselves with only one pad to last all day. Easy to see why we each made it out unstained on those days.

Edit: if that link doesn't work, try selecting video twenty-three here: http://www.tv-links.co.uk/listings/9/44

For a while now I’ve been experiencing pain in my vagina.

Whenever my boyfriend & I have sex I experience some pain... it's not so painful that I don't enjoy it- but the pain is still there & I’d just rather it not be. Sometimes it hurts for a few hours after we've had sex... Another thing I also noticed is, after we are done having sex, I start to feel sick to my stomach…

We decided not have sex for a while & last night was the first time we did so in about a week and a half... he said I felt really tight & it did still hurt me a little...

A few months ago we use to have sex alot, it was new to us and we just enjoyed it (& I didn’t experience the pain then) but over the past three months we haven’t been doing it as much (maybe 2-3 times a week...) could the pain be, because we don’t do it as much so it gives me a chance to "tighten" back up in between the times we do, do it? (because sometimes the pain feels as it did the first time I ever had sex.)

Also- Sometimes throughout the day my vagina will just start hurting ( I also feel as if I have to pee, when I actually do not have to pee and its sometimes painful when I do pee.) Now, I did recently have a UTI but after I was done taking my medication I went back to the doctors offices to see if my UTI was all cleared up and my results came back fine, they said I no longer had a UTI... so I’m starting to think this pain isn't a UTI… WHAT COULD BE WRONG WITH ME?! :(

Hi,

So, my husband and I got married two weeks ago. We both decided to wait until marriage, so we were virgins on our honeymoon night.

Cut for details... )

Sorry for the graphicness, I just hope that might help with answers. I guess I want to know how long this is going to take to heal, anything I can do about that specific pain (something to numb), if it's safe to use lube on an open cut, and if anyone else had a similar experience?

This doesn't actually apply to me but I was curious. Last night, I was watching the commercial for Valtrex. At the bottom of the screen, a disclaimer flashed saying that Valtrex has only been tested in heterosexual couples. Honestly, I can't see a difference. It's not like a virus such as Herpes is going to care if you're male or female, right?
I was just curious what any potential difference would be.

i started my pill pack this month late- i should have taken my first new pill on a thursday evening at 8pm, but didnt take the first pill untill about 8am the next day, thus ending up taking 2 pills in one day (as per intructions in the yasmin pill pack). my question is, would that cause my period to come a day later than it normally would?

soreness

Hello all! I have an unusual affliction today...

Last night i took a shower and spread shaving gel around the tops of the insides of my thighs, just to get rid of any hair that would be seen around a bathing suit. I KNOW i didn't cut myself shaving or even come close to my vulva area, but I suppose there is a chance that shaving cream could have gotten there. But then again, there was no stinging and I rinsed thoroughly with soap. After the shower I began to have this soreness on the left side of my vaginal opening, like right around the edge. It wasn't itching so I simply put some zinc oxide on it (which has never before bothered me, so i know it didn't cause further irritation). This morning the soreness has not gotten better, and looking in the mirror the opening on the left side of my vagina is all inflamed. I've had yeast infections and other problems before, but this isn't anything like itching. It's just a soreness that I constantly feel and is making it hard for me to work (i walk around and clean houses). Any suggestions as to what this might be, or any remedies to make it better? Thanks in advance.

Hey vagpag,

So, I was masturbating today, and just as I was orgasming, I had this horrific chest pain/tightening thing. I mean, it was obviously a direct consequence of orgasming, but... Thats so not normal.

Some background info: I have dysautonomia, which basically means I faint if I work out or stand up too quickly because my autonomic nervous system is a little... broken.

Does anyone know why this happened?

Usually a day or two before I get my period, I get really light cramps and a sort of weak feeling in my stomach and knees. Also, my period is usually freakishly regular.

I've had these cramps and that feeling for over a week now (my period was due about 10 days ago), and yet my period won't come. I'm not sexually active, this is the first time it's ever been irregular, and it's the first time I've gotten my premenstrual symptoms so long before seeing my period. I'm not really worried much, but I just wanted to check if this was normal. Insight please?

Thanks. :]
