I can't get over how cute and gentle they areee and I need to share my happiness.. over a razor.. yep.

There is a point to this post other than tiny razors!
I've heard many people say not to 'go against the grain'.
Whyy? Does it irritate the skin? 'Cause it's the only way I can get the little hairs away.

really gross scary thing-please help

so- i had a giant lump of tissue come out of my vagina. it was the wierdest thing. it was like, pink, inside-of-a-person tissue, surrounded by clear mucus, the maroon kind of blood you have when you are spotting (which i am), and bright red blood. it was about the size of a quarter, only it wasn't flat. it was oval shaped. has this ever happened to anyone??? is this normal/dangerous???
also: i have (i think) bacterial vaginosis, i am on my second day of taking vaginal gel for it, and i have a lot of lumpy disharge and am spotting. i should add that the doctor wasn't positive i had b.v, she just guessed and medicated me. also, i have frequent yeast infections and uti's, but have never had bv before. i also have hpv, and had an iud put in about 4 months ago. sorry for all the info, but i called several hospitals and no one could help me, i am really just hoping someone might have some idea about what is wrong with me. this is really scary.

odd vagina question, help

hey everyone, I have posted before here about having external HPV/genital warts.. I noticed this the other day and plan to ask my gyno about this when I see him in the new year but have been stressing. I have this very dark looking "vein" that is on the base of my labia majora. It runs alongside my vaginal opening almost parallel to the top of my clitorus. I think technically it's the base of the labia minora (inner lips) but it's close to the fold. Does anyone know what that is, vein or artery name? I might not be describing it correctly but the oddest thing is since I've seen it, when I sit sometimes I feel a bit of pressure and when I go to the bathroom to check, the pressure is at the very end of that vein. Both times when I have felt this its been from me sitting at the computer.

Bleeding for over 2 weeks while on Seasonale....between periods...

Alright, I've flipped through the archives, the VP site, and the menstrualhut community, and I'm STILL not sure what to do, other than call my gyno the day after Christmas.
I've been bleeding for about 16 days, sometimes heavy, sometimes light, and I'm on Seasonale, and I'm not due for a period/hormone-free week for another month. I was put on HBC to control my crazy periods in the first place (10 days, VERY heavy bleeding, hormonal mood swings like whoah) and I took Yasmin for about 3 years till it stopped keeping my hormones in check between periods. Started Seasonale....in March? I think that's about right (I really should keep better track of this stuff). Perhaps it's still too early for my body to be totally used to only 4 periods a year, and I have had breakthrough bleeding that's lasted about a week while still taking the active pills, but this is starting to scare me. I'm bleeding A LOT and it keeps tapering off, like it's going to stop, and then starting up again. I'm not really getting any cramps or hormonal mood swings, just...lots, and lots, and lots of bleeding. And it won't stop.
Oher important info: I am sexually active, but we always use condoms (hey, less mess, no fuss!); I started taking 150mg of Wellbutrin XL in mid-November (though I can't find anything to suggest that these drugs interact with each other) and started taking Claritin and Prilosec OTC about a week and a half ago. I take a multivitamin every day but don't think that'd do much. I also have had my gallbladder out and have chronic gastritis (yeah, my body's a mess).
Could I be: having a miscarriage, having uterine hemorrhaging, having a drug interaction, or should I just chill out and wait for it to stop?

Positive / inspiring resources for strength throughout abortion

Christmas is coming and of course there is an extra layer of chaos around this time - Jan 2nd I have a surgical abortion and I feel that it will create a very intense struggle in me.. starting off the new year with a bang. I've been smoking so much reefer to disassociate from this but I think I am ready to start accepting that I am in on this, and this is really happening.

I want to access as many positive, pro-choice/pro-fem resources over the internet and also through people in my community in Vancouver, British Columbia (counsellors, therapists, websites, books or bookstores, womens groups). It's difficult for me to develop strength from within at this time so I'm looking to my surroundings to find an extra burst of hope and vigor. The father of the fetus is in love with me and supportive of my decision, but he is in France so there is a bit of difficulty with communication and physical closeness.

Authors or titles of books that are good for developing confidence and strength would be great too- even if they are not about overcoming abortion.

Recurring Bacterial Infection...

I seem to have recurring bacterial infections in my coochie! it/they just seem/s to linger at a mild bacterial infection. the doctor gave me some lactic acid vaginal jelly, to help re-balance my flora, but still it lingers. i have also tried tampons dipped with olive oil and tea tree oil, and still this bacteria lingers. i am hesitant to go back to the doc, as she will probably prescribe antibiotics as my next solution. This all leads me to 2 questions.

1) What's a girl to do?

2) Would a recurring or long-term bacterial infection cause any long-term damage? (i once read that bacterial infections may lead to problems with fertility...not sure how true this is...i am not planning on any children at the moment, but would like to have some kidlings in the future...)

Could I possibly be pregnant while on the pill?

Hey ladies (and possibly gents.) I'm on the pill right, and soon enough I should have my period (tonight or tomorrow, took first placebo yesterday). The issue I have though is that my boyfriend and I had sex a few times without a condom and now I am paranoid about whether I'm pregnant or not. I know I probably have nothing to worry about but I would just like to tell someone this and just hear any advice or share any knowledge they have.

I've been on the pill for 9 or so months, I take it everyday as directed... I think I'm just paranoid but I don't have any 'pregnant' symptoms. So please, if you have anything to say to ease the worry I'd be so happy to hear. Thanks! :(

lubricants and burning

hi everyone,
so basically...last night me and my boyfriend were using the durex tingle lube. i used it on him then he still had some on him when we were doing it (im on the pill)
so, while he was in me it felt tingly to begin with and it wasnt that bad but then after about 10mins it started really burning so we had to stop. it seemed to go away after i went to the toilet but any ideas why it  done this? 
does anyone have any good experiences with the durex lubricants? i also have the silky one and heat.

strange vaginal taste/smell after anal

So my boyfriend and I had unprotected anal sex about a week ago. He came inside me, and there was some backsplash. Now my vagina smells and tastes off. There's no itchiness, so I'm pretty sure it's not a YI. Could this be some other form of vaginal infection? My period is also late, and I'm thinking I might be pregnant. Could this be the cause of the vaginal issues?
