Hi everyone!
My name is Cherie and I'm from Southeast Louisiana! I am married and have 4 beautiful children ranging from the ages 2 to 19 yrs. old. Okay here's my questions. Me and my husband want to have another baby (our last), and first I need to get my IUD removed. I would like to get it removed ASAP (this month) and I was wondering how much does it cost?? Also I am still nursing my 2 yr. old, and was wondering will this hinder the "baby making" attempts?? Thanks so much!

Hey Ladies
Just curious, About 2 yrs ago I went to the doc for an Ultrasound and he told me my womb is tilted to the back. I asked him if it would affect birth and stuff, and he said yes.

However after I heard of alot of women who is like that as well and how it's "normal"
so I really have no idea what this man is saying is true or not.

My question is : Does any of ya'll have a "tilted womb" ? And if you do, have you had any problems with your period/cycle/cramps & pregnancy&birth ?

thanks

Another post mentioned that hormones from the pill are excreted in urine, but what about vaginal fluids? If hormones from the pill do end up in vaginal fluids, is it dangerous to one's partner to give...erm, A LOT of oral sex to the pill-taking partner?

I started my period yesterday and took some vicodin for my cramps (Midol isn't strong enough for me). In the middle of the afternoon, I started getting horrible stabbing pains in the area where my ovaries are. I felt this quickly on the Wednesday and Friday before my period started, but other than those two days, I've never had this before. I tried to ignore the pain, but it finally got to bad that I couldn't even stand so I went to the emergency room. Once I was there, the pain started to subside. The doctor wanted to do some tests, but I chose not to since I was feeling better. I'm making an appointment with my doctor on Monday, but was wondering if anyone knows what this could be. My period has been unusually heavy this month, along with large clumps (they pretty long, not shaped like a ball) of blood coming out in my urine.

Last night my boyfriend and I had sex, and the first time the condom slipped off and spilled right outside my vagina. We cleaned it all up and I felt around inside to see if any had spilled inside, and I didn't feel anything resembling the consistency of sperm. I got my first Depo shot on October 26, about  9 days before this happened. I didn't get the shot immediately following my period, though. I started my last period on the 9th of October and it ended on the 14th, so it was about 12 days after I ended my period. Also, according to mymonthlycycles.com, I was ovulating the day that I got the shot, but I'm not positive of that.

According to the clinic, the Depo wouldn't reach full effectiveness for about 30 days, but I have read that it only takes about 7 days if you haven't just had your period, otherwise it's effective immediately. Is this true? I guess I just want to know if I'm safe or not considering the spill we had last night.

Thank you for any answers. :D

So, I've got a bit of a problem.
I'm 15, and have been masterbating for about 2 years. It's always been off and on, but lately, I have been doing it a lot more. I have to say, I am really enjoying it.

Now, I am very interested in getting a vibrator, but, because I am only 15, I can't seem to find any shops that allow minors.
If it helps, I live in Vancouver, BC.
Oh, and ordering something online is out of the question for me as well.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Due to unforseen changes in my insurance and other hassles, I'll be switching from my triphasic pill that I've been on for five years to a monophasic pill for just this month, then back to my regular script. I'm assuming there'll be no change in effectiveness (is that even a word?) as I'll be taking it at the same time and I'm not late day-wise. Am I correct there? Also are there any other possible changes I should be aware of? I know each pill reacts differently with each person, but just wanted any possible advice. Thanks ladies!

So, my gyn told me I have an ovarian cyst (previously noted) have an ultrasound on Thursday- I have been having a LOT of flatulance, more so around when the pain started, is this consistant with symptoms of ovarian cysts?

BV?

Hello all! I've been reading up on BV in the community, and I'm worried I may have it. I am in a long distance relationship, so I don't have sex very often. However, for the past few months, whenever I have sex, I afterwards experience a lot of weird-smelling discharge-- this goes on for about a day after I have sex. (So you can imagine, it gets pretty annoying if I am having sex several times over a period of days!) It is a clear discharge with a very strong smell. In addition, this past weekend, I experienced some burning during sex and immediately afterwards-- nothing too painful but definitely distracting.

Does this sound like BV to you? I am a college student, a freshman, so I am hesitant to go to the health center-- I don't even know if they can treat me!

Thanks so much for all your help!

Hi All, I've noticed that over the months of weekly treatments for HPV that the times that I am able to keep the area super dry I have better results after my treatments. The warts are on my peritoneal & rectal area. It's constantly moist there and I've used corn starch and some other powders, ending up with a nasty yeast infection. Do u know other ways to keeping it dry without taping my butt cheeks open and sleeping in a hammock. This is getting progressively worse, to the point where the doc is saying no more treatment, go in for laser :(

This is a really weird question...

My mom had a complete hysterectomy, oh, I would say about seven years ago. All that's left is a vagina-- they even took her cervix. The weird part is that she continually buys tampons.. and uses them. I am the only other person in the house who uses tampons, so I know they're not for someone else. She'll even have me pick them up for her if I'm running errands. I have never asked why she needs them because I'm afraid I really don't want to know, you know what I mean? That's why I thought I'd ask here, first.
Its not a huge deal, but I've been curious for quite some time, now. Does anyone have any ideas?

I had been having very bad pain during sex, and dull pain after. My gyn did a preliminary ultrasound and I go for a full ultrasound Thursday- she things I have an ovarian cyst 5CM diameter but wants to rule out anything additional or cancerous. My question is...

I have been having very unusual discharge. White, lumpy, not smelly, NOT like a yeast infection.te discharge, with lumps-lumps are firmer and NOT cottage-cheese like (more like the material inside a jelly bean and more squarish), and the discharge is
not at all mucousy (like normal) and not at all like a yeast infection, almost a little stringy and tough when it dries. No itching, pain, burning, anything in vagina. Is this at all related to the cyst, or is this maybe something else.

Hi ladies..

Uuuugh, I hoped I would never ever have to make one of these posts, but it just goes to show that you just don't know what's around the corner!

My current partner doesn't usually ejaculate in me, but as a precaution I am on birth control - a generic of diane-35.
However, this morning he did cum in me. I'm not stressing, but at the same time I'm a bit concerned about how effective my birth control will be right now.

I've never skipped a pill before, but in the last two weeks, maybe more due to my regular routine changing and just being out of the habit, daylight savings, excuses excuses I've been really bad about taking the pill on time each day. Although I usually am within a two or so hour window of when I am supposed to.

I have read the FAQ, and understand the thing about perfect use, etc etc and the percentages of how protected I am, but I was wondering if this would change because I'm SUPPOSED to be on my period right now, and supposed to be on only the second active pill in a new pack, but for the first time this month I decided to skip the sugar pills. So instead, I'm into the eighth active pill in the pack.

Would this make a difference, and give me more protection?
Should I take a morning after pill just to be safe?

I hope this is clear, if not please ask any questions.

Thank you :)

My problem is that I just cannot get off! Ever. I mean I never have. Ever. Not by myself, not with partners. I have several sex toys and nothing has worked. Obviously my boyfriend thinks it's his fault but it isn't. I can't even do it to myself.

If there's any way you can help, please tell me. I am 22 and too old for this shit. I deserve an orgasm just as much as the next girl. My boyfriend can take sex or leave it and sometimes seems to not want to because he knows I won't get off and he thinks I don't enjoy it because of that reason (and I do enjoy it).

Thank you for any advice you can give.
