Sometimes I have really sharp quick pains around my uterus when its not time for my period. Sometimes they last for a couple of seconds and it hurts to bend over. this happens from 1 to several times a week. Anyone know what this is?

So this is a little odd. But the other day I went out for Vietnamese food and I got my usual, vermicelli with imperial rolls. It comes with this tangy sauce that you can pour on top. The place that I went to wasn't my regular Vietnamese restaurant, and I was a little disconcerted when I poured the sauce on.. it smelled very familiar. Almost like.. my vagina! A little bit sweet and salty and tangy and oh so vagesque. It actually tasted kind of like vagina too, which was weird...

Tonight I was eating out again, this time at a Quebecois restaurant. In the middle of our meal this smell wafted out from the kitchen. It smelled like vag again! Very odd.

What other foods taste or smell like vagina to you guys?

My appologies in advance if this is something i've missed in the resource section of the community, or if it's not on topic for the community (let me know and i'll delete it). I've just been really frustrated lately, because I can't seem to find any cute bra/pantie sets that aren't like, $80. Or if they are reasonably priced, it's impossible to get in my bra size (34-D). Do any of you ladies know of places (perhaps even online--i love online shopping, so convenient) where I can purchase some cute/sexy underwear at a reasonable price? Thanks in advance!

I want to induce my period by using the parsley method. I found a liquid herbal supplement at the health food store, and I have to wonder ....does it work the same???
or should I just go get the dried herbs at the grocery store??

Thanks in advance

I need some advice and perhaps some support and a lj community is perhaps the closest I have. I am the most scared I have been in my life.

Has anyone ever had a coloscopy and biopsy done? I am facing one in a week and I am well terrified and frightening. I was kind of in shock when the doctor told me when I was having a pap test done, that she was going to schedule one for me, because when doing the examination she had found a spot that had just started to bleed around my cervix. There was also some whitish areas around the same area, along with tenderness.

<lj-cut>

Background, I am 23, and have been in a committed relationship for 4 years now. Penetration sex has always been kind of on the painful side, but I had thought it was normal. I had a few previous partners but we always used condoms, and hardly had sex.

I am on the birthcontrol pill and have been for about 9 years now and at the time of my pap test my period was due in a week and i have never had spotting.
I've also never had any other problems.

I've only ever had two pap tests done ever, one last year and one in september, the actual tests have always come back fine, this one through a new doctor, she found this area.

I am just kind of scared, I don't really know what to expect. I was kind of in shock when the doctor told me so I didn't really ask any questions, I couldn't think of any, as its a lot of absorb. I am just wondering if anyone else has had this. My family also has a history of ovarian and cervical cancer.

I would like to know what to expect during the test, and what kind of results they could tell me.

I got my diva-cup in the mail today.
So, even though I don't have my period, I wanted to try it out.
So, I put it in.
And now, I can't get it back out.
It's not that it's ridden up too high. It's that the suction is REALLY strong.
And I'm scared I'm going to hurt myself if I pull too hard.
HELP!

Thank you in advance.

EDIT: OMG, THANK YOU, LADIES!  I hadn't trimmed the stem yet, and it was kind of uncomfortable.
Thank you all for responding so quickly.

At least I know I won't have to worry about leaks, with suction like THAT!
:)
Thank you again!

Hey girls, I'm thinking that I'm allergic to latex. However, I don't really know what the signs/symptoms are, and I've checked the archive but there isn't really anything too definitive.

So, those of you allergic to latex, this is a chance to step up and share! What are your symptoms? What does it feel like? What are your alternative types of birth control?

Anyone have any advice?

I'm on Yasmin and skip my period fairly often (generally I do one every 3 months). However, last night I flaked and took my pill 3-4 hours after schedule. I just started spotting about 14 hours later and have about 5 hours til my next scheduled pill. Is there any way I can stop the period from happening? Can I double up my next dose and keep on goingsd normal? Or do i just need to suck it up, stop, let the period happen and start again? My periods are fairly incapacitating and I would really prefer to stop it now if possible. I've had this happen before, but usually I just suck it up.. but in this case, i would really rather not.

Does anyone know the name of any birth control pills that cause you to not have any periods while you're on it? I tried looking some up, but I couldn't find anything.

Also, does anyone know of people who are using no-period pills? I haven't had any bad side effects with any HBC I've tried, but there's a first time for everything and I'd like to hear about peoples' experiences.

Thanks in advance!

:edit: I should probably add that I was on depo-provera for three years, and my doctor recommended that I come off it because it can cause bone thinning.
