big mucus?

I didn't see anything in the memories about this, and google was no help. Maybe you all have some ideas.
Today when I wiped after going to the bathroom I found a glob of whitish/clear mucus about the size of a large cotton ball coming off me. It totally weirded me out. Nothing like that's ever happened to me before. I just took a warm bath and when I got out, whitish liquid dripped all over my panties, lots of it. I'm assuming it's the melted form of whatever came out of me before. Nothing smells weird.
It's probably worth noting that I'm sick--I spent yesterday throwing up and having diarrhea and have been eating gently today (BRAT diet). It's probably also worth noting that this is my first cycle off hormonal bc in about four years, and if I was still on it, I would've been due for my period about five days ago. (No chance of pregnancy--I was on it only for regulation, never had sex with men.)
Any ideas? I'm both grossed out and weirded out.

Sorry I am not sure where to look to find this out but, what does it feel like to have tender breasts when you are pregnant? and how long after you conceive do they start to feel tender? I think might have tender breasts, but I don't know because I have never had them before, even before my period. I sorta feel pregnant, but it could just be my imagination wanting me to be.
thanks heaps :-)

Alright, I have a bit of a problem. I had missed my period for 3 months, went to the gyno and found out I had Bacterial Vaginois, I got that cleared up and was put on birth control. Well, my period started last Saturday night (about 6 days ago). It's been a very odd period, and is showing no near end in sight. I'm used to a consistent heavy flow right up until the last day or two, my period usually lasting 7 days. Well I started my birth control that following Sunday, the second day of my period. It's been extremely light, hardly bleeding at all at times, and then I'll wake up to a full tampon. It's driving me crazy and I'm supposed to go out of town this weekend. I thought the pill would help to shorten my periods, but it doesn't look like it. Never in my life have I had a period like this. I've heard of people taking the pill on their periods to stop it, but can it make your period do this? What could be the cause of this? Is it that I just missed my period for 3 months, or is it my body adjusting to the pill?

I have a question about miscarriage..

Okay, up till this morning, I was pretty sure I was pregnant. I've recently been having sex with a new boyfriend without using anything [yes, yes, I'm an idiot] as I was previously on the pill.. but sortof stopped taking it a while ago when I wasn't getting any and kept forgetting anyway. And since the new BF, I've meant to start taking it again but.. well, it's a procrastinatory thing. But anyway.

So yeah.. I was meant to come on, on the 8th. But.. I didn't. And I still haven't. So I assumed.. that I was pregnant, and was going to get a test today, actually, to confirm it.

But then this morning I went to the toilet when I got up, as usual, and well.. when I wiped.. it was like the usual whitish fluid-y discharge/cum sortof thing I often get on an everyday basis [know what i mean?] only.. it was tinged pink, and there were flecks of actual blood in it.. like proper blood-red blood. This happened twice in about five minutes.. I'm not sure if it's just my period coming on, but it doesn't usually look like this.

I read up quickly a second ago [I have to catch the bus at 9!] and am thinking this could have been a chemical pregnancy or miscarriage? This is all considering in mind that if I am/was pregnant, it's only 4-5 weeks gone. So it wouldn't be like.. a heavy miscarriage or anything. But the bleeding described in the description of a chemical miscarriage sounded heavier and bloodier than what I'm experiencing.. Of course I have only been up about 45 minutes so I'll see what happens over the day, but I just wanted to get a heads-up from you guys.. I did drink obscene amounts of alcohol in the week of the 6th-11th; I was on holiday and then had a party on the saturday, but I'm pretty sure that if that was the cause of a miscarriage it would have happened a lot sooner..

Now I'm starting to ramble, and I really do need to go catch my bus..
I'm probably panicking over nothing, but I just wanted to get the heads-up from you guys, if any of you have experienced anything similar before or could tell me what this might be?

Thanks!
Ps- I'm not sure if this is considered an out-of-context post along with the pregnancy type ones.. so let me know if so and I'll delete. x-posted to am_i_pregnant anyways.

I've noticed that after the past couple of periods that I have had, I have been usually dry and itchy around my vagina. Does this happen for anyone else? It usually goes away after a couple of days or so, but I was wondering if anyone else had ever had this problem?

Thanks so much!

I was just wondering, have any of you had inguinal/fermoral hernia? I had one diagonsed and operated on when I was 6, and despite the ugly scar over my vag, it went as well as could be expected... well, until recently (last 6-months or so, so approx 17 years after the initial surgery).

I've noticed that sometimes for no real reason I get these random pains. It'll happen once or twice and month, I feel this sharp, pulling pain that makes me double over for a second, then it's gone again. I know that people that have had hernias in the past are likely to get them again, so I've been watching for any changes, and there's been none. So, it seems very unlikely that I have another one.

To be on the safe side, I'm made an appointment with my gyno to get a professional opinion, but I was curious if anyone else had gone through this before? Maybe with some other form or surgery? I've heard (I know, not too reliable a source :) that sometimes old sars have to be operated on when they cause pain...

If it were any other part of my body I wouldn't be as worried. But this is my special place we're talking about. It's bad enough I got one scar... I really hope they don't have to open up my privates again. Hasn't my poor pussy been through enough?

So any opinions? Thoughts? Advice?

Alright, so with the exception of the past week or so, I've been having amazing, wonderful sex with my girlfriend. As in several times a day, I think my record was eight orgasms (I multiple) in one day - for about a month straight. However, about a week ago (right after my period) I noticed first that my vagina was smelling a little different and second that she was way way too sore to have penetration. So we gave her a rest for a week. However, it's been a week and my vagina is still too sore for penetration. When I say penetration, I mean fingers, normally 1-3, sometimes 4. We use latex gloves during sex and occasionally water based lube. Also, I use the diva cup during my menstrual cycle.
Some things that I have considered:
- Too much sex, we do have somewhat rough sex. Would it take more than a week to heal up though? I don't normally have sex when I'm on my cycle (not because I have a problem with it, mostly because I think its just my body telling me to take a break), so really its been more than a week.
- Allergy to an ingredient in the lube? We switched up the lube right around that time because we ran out of what we normally have and only had access to the KY water based they had at the CVS.
- Allergy to the latex gloves? I've never been exposed to this much latex before (we went through a box of 50... well, in under 20 days. ehum.), but it doesn't cause a rash or anything on my hands.

Does anyone have any thoughts? I'm in college and I don't have access to my gyno. And the RN at my school is an idiot. When my friend told her she was a lesbian, the RN replied - "Oh, good, that means you can't get any STDs." Yea. I know, that was my reaction, too.

edit: Oh, there's no bleeding or spotting, either. Just soreness and a few spots where the texture of my vagina apparently feels different as well (according to my girlfriend). Also, this is just my vagina - hers is fine and dandy.

I am doing a consumer product report for my business english class, and have decided to do adult sex aids/toys. (I think my teacher hates me because I'm doing this project, but who cares.)

A few times when my boyfriend fingered me, he would curl his fingers and rub on where my g-spot should be (and I believe he knows what he's doing, because his ex trained him pretty well ;). Whenever he would, though, it just felt like I was getting kicked in the abdomen. Not pleasant at all. Sex is even worse; I'm generally on top to control the angle better, but I still end up sore, and a couple of times got nauseous.

Earlier this month I had a gyn appointment, and everything must have been normal and in its right place because she didn't comment on anything, so strange growths/infection are out of the question.

Should I worry, or is this just something I'll have to live with? Suppose it's a lose-lose either way, it's bad enough that I'm reluctant to have any sexual contact at all.

Thanks.

edit: should probably mention too that my vagina feels fine, the pain is inside, and too low to be my cervix. My guy is really careful too, there's no wild hard thrusting.

I know something sort of similiar was just asked, but, I recently took EC and it made my period come about a week early. I'm bleeding about the same I normally would, but after this period is over, will my body go back to its regular 28 day cycles, or will it be messed up for a while? I mean, is this the only period that is going to be affected by it? Thanks!

I have read the information about a first gynocologist appointment, but I still have a few questions.

I'm 15, and I'm only going to the gynocologist because I have extremely painful periods (including cramps, lightheadedness, panic attacks sometimes) that are also somewhat irregular. I'm thinking about going on BC to regulate things and hopefully make them less painful. I'm not sexually active, so would anything be different because of this? Will I be getting a pap smear or any other test, or will it just be an exam? Also, should I shave or not? I don't exactly have a peference, I'd just like to know everyone's opinion. Thanks!

hi,
i had sex for the first time last saturday morning, but without using protection. i took the "morning after pill" three days later, where i was told that there was a 1/2 chance i could be pregnant but to wait until i got my period before i returned for a pregnancy test.
however, when i had sex (last week) it was basically the end of my period which normally lasts about 5 days, with three weeks in between each one. today i began what resembled my period but as it is at the end, along with stomach cramps, but only a week after my last period ended.
is it normal for the morning after pill to affect the cycle of your periods so dramatically? i am normally regular so i assumed that this would remain the case.
(i couldn't see anything in the memories on this, apologies if something like this has been posted).

First of all, I would like to say that Calfornia's Exotic Novelties' Turbo vibe is awesome. For as long as I've been masturbating, I've only been able to get off with my shower head. Since purchasing that for my brithday (Mmm, legality!) I've used it twice and come twice. Heee. Yay. So, for those girls who use shower heads, this toys is equal in power. I bought mine for $26, but they might be able to be found online cheaper.

Question: My partner was fingering me last night roughly (Heh, yay sadomasochism, so it was rather very very rough) and ended up hurting my cunny to the point of making me bleed. It should be noted that it was one incident, and he noticed it when it occured and stopped. He then took a look and said it looked like a jagged inch long cut. It wasn't bleeding too much, so I just kind of wrote it off. I have another new toy that I would like to play with (A jelly dildo, to be specific), but should I put that off? How long should I wait? Should I do anything in the mean time?

Thanks :)

Hey ladies! Quick question:

I'm sure it's too early to really be worrying about anything, but basically today when my bf and I tried to have sex it was very painful. When he was fingering me it felt like a dull achey pain when he applied pressure. Since the previous night entailed some rather long and vigorous sex we figured I was probably just a bit sore and bruised and would take care of itself in a few days. But when he actually penetrated instead of a bruisey feeling there was actually a very sharp hurty pain farther up.

Granted, it's only been today, so it's probably just soreness that will go away; but it was the sharp pain that worried me. Should I be worried?

When my boyfriend and I have sex, he gets in deep, but when he ejaculates, he seems to go deeper than he could get otherwise. Why does he go deeper when he ejaculates and is there a way to get him to go this deep regaurly? How much deeper does he go? - it feels like a significant amount.
