Hey guys, it's the girl with the question about the cervix location. Just a random update, I had had no idea previously that the vagina elongates when aroused. So tonight (during a session w/ the bf) I remembered and decided to check, and lo and behold that "lump" which I've now discovered was my cervix, in fact was nowhere to be found. So I suppose there *is* plenty of room for a penis in there, lol. And then later when I noticed that "popping" sensation again I wanted to be like, "Hey, that's my cervix!" Oh man, girly parts are awesome! :-D

Also, I was just wondering a couple of things about oral sex:  First of all, my boyfriend said tonight that lately I taste different.  Not bad, so nothing's wrong, just different.  It hasn't happened before in the months we've been dating, and there haven't been any significnat changes in my diet or anything else like that.  The only thing is that I've just recently started taking the Pill.  Coul this be the culprit?

Also, in terms of safety/hygeine in regards to anal play... I know with penetration you should never move from "back to front" so to speak.  But is this also risky with oral?  Because the tongue obviously isn't penetrating the anus, so is the bacteria still a problem?  And does the saliva kind of "wash things out"?

Thanks!

So this is going to be a longer story but i really think i need some opinions and i know yous guys are very helpful. I had my first pap smear when i was 15 and a half. I had sex for the first time about a month before that pap and i was going to go on birth control. My boyfriend and i had always used condoms. Unlike i he was not a virgin, he had had 3 other partners. So my first pap smear came back abnormal, Low grade or what not. They automatically told me it was hpv. So i had a repap and it came back abnormal, so than i was refered to have cryotherapy.... then somehow after cryotherapy my results came back as a high grade abnormalty and i was reffered to a specialist.... since than i have had two leep procedures... and my repap results came back last week as abnormal again. Im almost 18 now.... and ive never had a normal pap smear. I still have the same bf and i really love him... i just dont know what to do. All the doctors ive had say its from him but the time frame dosent fit to me. And they say there is no way to test him to see if it is him because so many people have hpv. Im wondering if you guys think i should maybe get a second opinion. Couldnt something else be causing my abnormal paps besides hpv. Im so confused and scared and ive had this on my mind for three years...and it makes me feel horrible. My doc says if i have to have leep again i wont beable to have kids.... and well i dont know this whole situatuion seems so strange to me. I just dont know what to think of it. I really love my boyfriend and i dont want to give him up... if theres a chance its not him. I just wish this would all just go away. Please give me advice.

thanks much, Rachael

Hello, everyone!
I have a few concerns and I would really appreciate some knowledgeable responses. Yesterday, I was having some pretty rough sex with my boyfriend and we broke two condoms in the process. He never ejaculated inside of me or anything, but I was just wondering if I should consider taking the morning after pill. My last period was the week before Valentine's Day and they're regular, always on time. I would appreciate any help. Thanks a million.

So my mom is rather confused about what her body is telling her. And since Im not a doctor [although I have a sneakin suspision that it's menopause] I figured I'd ask you lovely ladies [and gents].

My mom [who is 45] has been getting her period every two weeks for the past year or so. She was kinda freaked out when she didn't get her period for the entire month of January [she is not pregnant, nor can she be ever again--I forgot what that surgery is called]. She finally got her period around the 7th of February, except to her it wasnt really a period [turns out she was spotting]. Eventually the spotting turned into a period that is really super duper heavy and now she's going crazy cause its finally here in full force!

Is this just her being pre-menopausal?

OK, well I don't know why, but it seems like my cunt is just a never-ending pile of yeast

Cut for her pleasure...lol )

What does it mean to let your vagina breathe? Why do you have to do it? Am I not supposed to wear underwear to bed? I tend to be leaky throughout my entire cycle, so I would think that would be kind of gross...

I bought the 7 day treatment for a yeast infection. I used 3 of the 7 suppositories things. On Friday night, I had a 103 degree fever, and chills so bad I couldn't stop shaking, and forgot to take the YI medicine. I didn't take it last night, either.
My question is, um... what do I do now? The YI symptoms are gone. Should I just throw the rest of the medicine away?
Sorry if this doesn't make any sense. I am still sick as a dog.

Since I've read about it used for YIs and cup cleaning (and it's in the best shampoo I have!) I'm interested in getting some tea tree oil. What type of store and what section of a store would it be in? I've checked around Kroger and CVS with no luck.

Also, I remember reading that it's potent stuff so for those of you who use it how much do you use in relation to what amount of water?

i just got my divacup in the mail! wooo! of course my period ended 2 days ago so great timing there..but i tried putting it in anyway just to see how it was..and it went in fine the first time! of course i cant really tell if it was in right since i'm not bleeding so i cant monitor any leaks, but i couldnt really feel it once it was in and i did kinda feel like there was a little bit of suction/pressure going on in there. i cant wait till next month!

Okay so I posted a while ago about brown discharge which I guess turned out to be some spotting. At the time it was very light and sparse, so I just had to wear a panty liner.

Fast forward about a week- the funky brown discharged has turned into hardcore bleeding. For the past week it has been getting heavier and heavier every day- I am seriously bleeding like a stuck pig right now and I don't know what to do. I am on Alesse and I have never had any problems with spotting- before or after I started birth control.

I am not in a position to be able to go to a gyno right now, so I REALLY need some advice here.

I am taking my pill every day at the same time as usual, and I should have STARTED my period in about three days. So what do I do? do I still take the sugar pill for a week? Will the bleeding stop or keep going? Should I start my next pack on schedule? Has anyone else had this experience?

Things that may or may not be relevant-

-This month I switched from Lutera to Aviane-- both generics for Alesse
-intense stress which has led me to
-changed eating habits & weight loss
-pregnancy scare last month, took a test that came back negative

Help!!!!

hey there -- been reading (and really appreciating!) this community lately and just thought i had to share a recent funny... i work on a farm in new england, and due to some trees that fell on the farm recently, i had the opportunity to learn how to use a chainsaw. so my boss (who is male and extremely good looking) is explaining it all to me and i'm more than a little worried about the whole thing but excited to learn and the time comes to start the beast up. i flip the choke and pull the cord a few times until it starts puttering away (maybe something louder than puttering), then wonder what to do next. i hold it in close to my body to take some of the weight off my arms while i yell a question to my boss and the other guys (all young, all attractive) standing nearby when suddenly -- OOOHH!!!! you see, i was holding the body of the beast in close to the front of my waist (the chain wasn't running, just so you know -- probably makes this all sound much less scary to anyone who doesn't know chainsaw technique, hah) and part of it was vibing like crazy against my twat. i wouldn't recommend it as a bedroom toy but the experience left me with a huge grin on my face in front of all these guys. i hope they didn't know why!

Does anyone know whether spotting/breakthrough bleeding -- particularly bleeding with a copper IUD in place before and during ovulation -- is 100% blood or whether it's blood mixed with other endometrial tissue? Something else entirely, as I suspect that in my case, at least some of the liquid is my standard cervical discharge, only tinted red from the blood present? (Or does it vary from situation to situation?) I googled but found squat.

Also, if I've "bled" a significant amount (for the past week, I've filled a Mooncup every 12 hours, and I've been bleeding but bleeding less for 2-3 weeks prior to that week) during part of my follicular phase, how likely is this to affect the length and/or flow of my period? (Since I used BBT to check for ovulation, I'm not worried about it affecting the timing of my period... but then again, you never know.)

At thise point, I really have no freaking clue what my period is going to do. Theories based on research and/or evidence would be wonderful, but theories based on any reasonable application of common sense would be just as appreciated.

For I don't know how long now I've had these little bumps on my labia, 3 little ones which look like blood filled blisters. You push on them and they disappear until the blood begins to flow back into the area again. I had a physical last week at the Dr's and asked about them and she told me (putting most of my fears to rest - as I'd worried that they were something else) that they were hemangioma's and that as long as they didn't seem to continue to get any bigger or bother me that I needn't worry about them.

I was wondering how many others have these or if anyone has had any experience in removing them (pain wise, cost etc etc). I know they have gotten a little bigger since I first noticed them several months ago, but not by much as before I wouldn't of noticed them if I hadn't looked, now I can feel them slightly raised up. I've had them for at least several months if not more so I know they're not going to go away on their own, at least any time soon.
