hay guys.
about a month ago, i had my first yeast infection, so i saw a doctor to treat it. then, last night, i noticed i was having the same symptoms so i got some over-the-counter stuff to treat it.
now here's my problem. i think it may have spread to my mouth, but i'm not sure. for the past three days or so i've been waking up with a sore throat that's been getting worse daily. today it is hurting so bad that i get a headache whenever i swallow. i haven't been having any other symptoms of a cold(runny nose/cough), and the pain has stayed in my throat and hasn't spread to my chest or anything. then, earlier today, my tongue started feeling a little raw, like i had burned it on hot soup. i looked in the mirror, and there's a thin white coating on my tongue that i'm not sure is normal.
so i looked up the symptoms of oral thrush online, but they say that there usually isn't any pain, and that there are white patches on your tongue and cheeks that bleed when scraped off. this isn't quite what i'm experiencing.
i have been undergoing a buttload of stress lately, so i think that's a factor in all of this. has anybody experienced oral thrush? i'm going to call my doctor tomorrow, but i just wondered if anyone had any insight.
thanks.
