I am really the only person in this community who's experienced a labial cyst?

You mean like the hard painless lumpy one that was just inside the vestibule of my vagina, or more like the painful sebaceous cysts that I get in my inner labia? Or more like a bartholin's cyst kinda thing?

I've gotten them several times... bumpy things filled with fluid that hurt when you squeeze 'em, you mean?

They are a pain.. mine usually either go away with heating pads applied for several days, or I get annoyed and lance them. Yes, I know, I'm not supposed to :)

I assume it is a different kind, then... I weren't saying yours were that kind, but that's the kind I get. Mine they said would be left alone unless they got infected, and then they'd have to do something like that...

No, not quite a zit... those have pus in them, etc. These were like small (less than 1/2 cm. in diameter) fluid-filled "bubbles" beneath several layers of skin.

I'm told it is, although the first time they pop up (sorry, possibly bad word choice! :) it might not be a bad idea to get them looked at. Also, keep an eye on them for infection, etc, and if they don't go away... yeah, get them looked at. Otherwise, they seem (unfortunately) common...

I just love performing my own minor surgery. Lancing things, cutting things open . . . .

Yeah, it's slightly undesireable, but alcohol and peroxide sterile nearly everything.

It's fun, and sooo much cheaper than a doctor.

I've had them for years. Mine aren't painful, but an annoyance. I've tried lancing them, yes, then painful. I was afraid for awhile that I had something else, but my gyno said not to worry. He would remove them if they become infected other than that he said I could probably get more. My boyfriend is just glad they aren't serious.
