Hello ladies,

I got a Brazilian wax about 6 weeks ago. It was for a vacation, and it's growing back, and I have no intention of getting another Brazilian anytime soon, though I may get just the bikini line done at some point.

My problem is it's itching like fuck as it grows back, and it's not exactly work appropriate to scratch my crotch! Anything vag-friendly I can put on it to make it stop itching? The itching is mostly in the hairy part a couple inches above my vulva and on the sides, not on my vagina itself. Right now the hair is different lengths, but mostly about 1/2 cm long.

I got really bad razorburn on my ENTIRE legs yesterday...I shaved too quickly...oops...
And I had a sample for this stuff called TendSkin, so I thought what the hell, and tried it. It stings at first, but the relief was instant after that.
I think it's alcohol, mostly...but it says on the bottle not to use if you're allergic to aspirin, so I'm thinking there's some sort of topical anti-inflammatory, too.
Maybe you could try that?

Have you been exfoliating regularly (like maybe daily or every other day?) I *think* most of the time itching is due to the skin trying to break through the surface and not being able to, so it gets sort of caught underneath the skin and irritated. I could be totally wrong about this, but I seem to remember hearing that exfoliation will help not only with preventing razor burn but also the itching.

Coconut oil! It's my go-to if I have itchiness for whatever reason. But yes, like someone said: you should also gently exfoliate the area, that may help as well.

A quick and gentle reminder that we are not all "ladies" here by any stretch of the imagination. :-) It would be awesome if you could edit your post to use a gender-neutral greeting (such as "VPers" or "superstars" ;)

Thank you for bearing this in mind for future :-) I know it can be difficult to remember in the heat of the moment!

I know Xactly what you r saying - been there & was miserable. I found that wearing loose clothing until the hair gets some length to it & going without panties helped the most.
