Implanon Removal?

So, I made a doctors appointment today to have my implanon removed. Im happy with it and love the fact that I am always protected, but I cannot deal with the near constant bleeding anymore. A friend who also has the implanon and is also dealing with constant bleeding has told me today that there is a pill that you can take alongside implanon to stop the bleeding. Does anyone know what it is? And is it hbc?

I was exactly the same, 11 very happy months with only a couple of days spotting. Then since December it's been almost non stop. The main reason I had mine was to stop my periods so I'm kinda annoyed with it now
