i just got a call from my doctor with pap results i had done last week. they said i have a yeast infection (not having any symptoms) and that i have strep. what IS strep? i'm being given some antibiotics and two doses of diflucan. anyone have any info on the infection and how the hell i got it, etc? thanks.

Date: 2003-10-20 03:29 pm (UTC)What antibiotics are they using? The drug of choice for strep (group B in the vagina) is penicillin. It's good they gave you diflucan as well, because the antibiotics could have made the yeast infection worse...
