i just got a call from my doctor with pap results i had done last week. they said i have a yeast infection (not having any symptoms) and that i have strep. what IS strep? i'm being given some antibiotics and two doses of diflucan. anyone have any info on the infection and how the hell i got it, etc? thanks.

i've been taking this same antibiotic so often since i was a kid, it's kind of strange. no wonder i'm sick all the time, i've built up such a resistance. i'm not understanding why it's being treated now; perhaps because i'm moving and wont have a doctor any longer once that happens, so they wanted to treat things before i left? who knows. thanks for all your info though, it really helped. xo
