i just got a call from my doctor with pap results i had done last week. they said i have a yeast infection (not having any symptoms) and that i have strep. what IS strep? i'm being given some antibiotics and two doses of diflucan. anyone have any info on the infection and how the hell i got it, etc? thanks.

Ok, just a dumb little thought but this seems a little counter productive. Give you Diflucan to get rid of the yeasties but then antibiotics. Don't they usually cause yeast infections? Huh, what do I know. Good luck and happy vagina to you.

they gave me two doses of diflucan- one to take now, and one to take when i finish my antibiotics incase it gave me another yeastie. thanks.
