My SO and I had sex three times in the course of less than 48 hours with spermicide condoms, Sunday and Monday. Today is Thursday and my vagina is REALLY REALLY REALLY fucking itchy. There's no unusual discharge or weird smell of any sort. My vagina is regular except for the fact that I'm excrutiatingly itchy, dry from itching, and sore. Is this a yeast infection? If not, then what the hell is it? What could it be? Please help me! It really really hurts. :(

Now, I'm really frustrated, because I'm finding really mixed messages about vaseline. Some people are telling me that it's totally fine to use on the vulva, while others say that it's the last thing I want to use and will cause even more problems. I can't seem to get a straight answer.

Were you told it was ok by a doctor at some point?

I mean, I remember using it as a kid and it working wonders, but now with all of these warnings, I'm nervous. I'm so sick of buying things that people rave about in one forum and then googling it and finding other people telling me not to use it ever!
