Hey everyone. My name's Ginny, short for Virginia, and when I was in girl scouts they called me vagina ^_^ Ain't that nice of them..

I feel a little bit odd that the first group I've joined in the near year since I've had LJ is called Vaginapagina but hey, it's all good. I've read many of the past entries, and I find you all to be supportive and understanding (with the exception of a comment or two, but if the world were perfect, it'd be boring) So anyway...I figured I'd ask a question about the topic of masterbation.

I won't go into detail here (it's a long, weird story), but I've been masterbating since I was 6 years old (gah!)and in the near 13 years since that time, I have had many orgasms...but not ONE has been by any other way then...well...for lack of a better term, "humping" pillows or something of the likes. Fingers and tongue don't do much for me, and I'm afraid a vibrator might be too large, or painful. As for penis...We'll see when the right guy comes along.

actually, its common for women to start masturbating at around that young age. they do make different sized vibraters....but i dunno. if fingers and tongues don't do much, you don't have sex, and won't try a vibrator, i'm not sure what else you could try =\

even vibrators that are penis shaped are mainly used for clit stimulation. The best ones often weren't even designed with your clit in mind (like commerical, plug in the wall massagers designed for much more mundane uses that many women, including myself, swear by). funny how no one bothers to tell you stuff like that.

however, the main reason I use a vibe is that using my hands never worked particularly well - if other methods are working well, why should you bother spending all the money ^_~ ?

i bought one of those dolphin clit stimulators with the loop for around the penis... but it didn't work for us! the dolphin just poked me too much and my man got a big bruise on his penis. sadly we only tried it the one time. any suggestions to make it work better??

my stand by is a plug-in-the-wall back massager, it's great, i only use it for clitoral stimulation. a little ackward during sex sometimes though! so far i've never gotten an orgasm from anything battery-operated.

Well, I don't know about the one that you have, but mine has loops for around the females legs, so that it rests right on your crotch. I usually leave those off altogether and just use it by hand!

Fingers really don't do anything.....It feels good from someone else but not yourself...Well for me anyway....Fingers inside me cannot case an orgasm....Er anything. The best thing I've found for clitoral stimulation that is small, easy to manipulate, relatively quiet, powerful, AND battery operated (one AA battery does the trick) is a vibrator called The Pocket Rocket. You can buy them waterproof for in the shower, hot tub, bath tub etc. as well. I can't remember what I paid for mine, but it wasn't expensive. adam and eve.com sells them.

I've never been able to climax without clitoral stimulation, and I prefer a vibrator or tongue. Penetration plus clitoral stimulation is most excellent for me) but since you're not having sex and unsure regarding a dildo and penetration I'd say go with a clitoral vibrator if you want to try something different than the pillow-humping thing. I love my Pocket Rocket!
