I have heard that some people use urine to rinse off their cups when they don't have anything else.
Do you? Why or why not?
If you have amalgam( siliver/mercury) fillings, you might be peeing away the mercury that you swallow. I guess you would also be peeing away some of the mercury in the foods you eat. So it just doesn't seem safe to me to use urine.
Any thoughts?

Date: 2009-04-09 10:37 pm (UTC)Its widely said to be safe to drink urine - I'm not sure why it would be any less safe to get it in your vagina.
I tend to just wipe off my cup if I have nothing else, but I don't really see any issues with using urine. I don't think that mercury or other contaminants are a real concern here.
