Hello all! I had my pap back at the end of December, and while she was down there the doctor commented on my discharge and said it could be an indication of bacterial vaginosis; I always seem to have a LOT of discharge (confuses guys; they just think I'm really wet for them) and it's usually yellowish (occasionally faintly greenish) with a faintly vinegar smell. Not fishy, rather more sour? I was, quite frankly, relieved that she mentioned it and offered to test without me having to ask.

Anyways, I didn't hear anything back from them so I made an appointment and went in today; the doctor went over the results; absolutely everything was negative; no BV, no STIs. This is great news but it leaves me wondering, is my discharge normal? It seems like an awful lot for no good reason, forcing me to wear panyliners every day, and I remember when I was a teen it was more clearish white than it is now.

I do not douche, and the only prescription I take is oral HBC.

I don't have an answer to your question because I have experienced the exact same thing and would also like to see comments to this. I also seem to get a lot of discharge, a VERY bothersome amount, but have been tested and they've never found anything wrong.

So, just wanted to let you know you're not alone and I hope we both get an answer to this! :)
