Discharge/pee

It seems like my bladder has gotten a lot smaller. Weird as this sounds, but I find myself having to go to the bathroom all the time. Nothing hurts, except sometimes I do feel ovary/bladder pain after I go to the bathroom, because I "held it in 2 long". I've noticed that it's either discharge, or pee because my bladder can't hold it in. Or both combined? I do take in a lot of fluid, but I noticed that I have to go to the bathroom ALL the time.(No possibility of being pregnant)I just wanted to see if I could get any input..Thank You

it sounds like it could be a uti. i never got any burning but i got some abdominal pain. i'd go get tested for one just to check things out.

I've never had one..is it possible to have it..for about 4 months? It seems weird that I can't hold in my pee..and kind of gross that I pee in my panties a little bit!

if you don't have some of the obvious symptoms (or common) it's definitely possible to have them for a long time and then they can turn into bladder or kidney infections.

Thanks! do you think antibiotics could have anything to do with it? the problem started before I took them, it was doxycycline.. and they don't really help with the uti right?

i'm not too sure because women usually get yeast infections from antibiotics not utis but if the uti was an underlying problems and the antibiotics were treating something else you might just need a stronger one to treat the uti.

Yes, doxycycline can be used to treat UTI, but IIRC doxycycline's effect on E. coli (the bacteria that cause most UTIs) isn't always reliable. So I wouldn't assume that having done a course of antibiotics would definitely have cleared it up.

Any doc you can get to should be able to help with this (even walk-in clinics do UTIs), it would be a good idea for you to see one.
