Delaying a period?

My SO and I have a limited window of time for me to go and visit him (LDR), and unfortunately that window falls right during period week for me. He's not real comfortable with sexual activity during my period, and I'm not real comfortable with not having any such activities while I'm visiting. ;) I've seen lots of info about how to bring on a period early (i.e., parsley tea, which I'll probably try) and it got me thinking... is there any way to delay a period if you're not on HBC?

I've never tried Insteads, but I may look into them. Do you know how they do with rough sexual activity, or, um, fingers?

I'm not for sure, I've used them once as an alternative to tampons so I could have sex, but I have a different boyfriend now and he doesn't mind sex while I'm menstruating, so I don't use them anymore.
You could probably research it, though.
