Sorry for another BC question but...
my boyfriend is vising in on April 11th to the 16th. And I should start taking my placebo pills on the 13th. I usually get my period by the 2nd or 3rd placebo pill. But since my boyfriend is visiting and we want to take advantage of all of our time together...is it possible that I can take the placebo pills a week earlier without risking protection? I would just skip the entire placebo week this month but last time there was a lot of spotting and I don't want to deal with that again. Thanks in advance. You guys are amazing. =]

Did you skip the placebo pills last month? Meaning, you would have been on the pill straight for 5 weeks? Then, yes, you could skip this month's placebo, because you would have taken more than 21 active pills in a row. But if the time you mentioned when you skipped the week was a few months ago, and so you've only have taken 2 weeks of pills, then no, you can't skip this month and still be protected. If you want to avoid your period, then you could do this, just make sure to still use condoms.
