Ok so I have heard a million times, after sex, its better to take a shower than a bath! Why is that? ? Anyone know anything on this?

Date: 2007-08-22 06:27 pm (UTC)When we take baths, we're effectively soaking our vulvas in water that may have soap or dirt in it that we don't want in our urethras/vaginas, which is why showers are a safer bet. (If you do take a bath, it's recommended to rinse off the vulva with a quick shower afterwards.)
It is also recommended to avoid bubble baths, bath salts or scented oils, as they can often cause infections.

I heard once that if you dabbed a little bit of your vaginal secretions behind your ears before you went on a date that it would turn guys on. I tried it and it seemed to work . . . but my husband is always turned on, so it wasn't really scientific.
