Ok so I was just wondering, is it n ormal to see vaginal discharge in your vagina? I know this is a weird question, but one I was just wondering about? And is it normal to have it alot not every day but every other day or so. No burning no pain, no itching, nothing like that with it, its just there.

Date: 2007-08-14 04:02 pm (UTC)Basically- you create cervical mucus that is in a variety of 'types' there's sticky, creamy, watery and eggwhite (all based on the consistency). As your body produces more estrogen (so as to release the egg) the cervical mucus changes. The eggwhite variety is the most fertile, as in sperm can survive in it later. If you ever have a lot that is really stretchy- you're probably really fertile at that point.
After you ovulate progesterone takes over and the cervical mucus 'dries' back up as you are no longer fertile.
I highly recommend Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler to everyone woman. You can learn so much about how your body works and what certain signs mean.
