I have a small bump on my bottom and it's been there for quite a while. It's kind of where your thigh and bottom meet. I think it's been there for quite a while. It's about the size of a pimple.  Any idea what this could be?

It's probably a pimple. :)

I just had one of those, I think! It's exactly as you described and in the same place. I think it was either an ingrown hair or a pimple. It hurt a LOT to the touch the first day or two that I noticed it was there. I just left it alone and it went away in about a week.

Well, do you know that it's been there for a while? And what does it look like?

I'm no doctor, but I think that now that you're aware of it, keep an eye on it. If it starts getting smaller, then it's probably a pimple. If it stays for more than 5 days with no change or if it worsens, then go see a doctor.

I honestly think it's a pimple. Try not to worry about it! And either way - don't pick at it! Hehe.

Again, keep an eye on it. If it starts going down in size, it was a plain ol' pimple. You can get them anywhere that you have pores. If it gets to be weird-looking, go to a doctor.

I mean, what you describe doesn't sound like a wart.

"The warts can appear as soft, raised masses with a surface that can be smooth (on the penile shaft) or rough with many fingerlike projections (anal warts). Others may appear pearly, cauliflower–like, or rough with a slightly dark surface."

"In women, genital warts have a similar appearance and usually occur in the moist areas of the labia minora and vaginal opening. Lesions visible on the outer genitals require a thorough examination of the vaginal canal, cervix, and anorectal area. Most vaginal warts occur without symptoms. Rarely, women may experience bleeding after sexual intercourse, itching, or vaginal discharge."

So, really, I honestly think it's a pimple. And, again... just keep an eye on it and don't mess with it no matter what. :)

I had something like that in the exact same spot. I was freaking out...it hurt really bad especially when i touched it. Turns out it was just a pimple from irritation... sweat, shaving, tight pants, etc. It took about 2 weeks to go away because i was constantly irritating it. Seems like you're having the same problem. Don't worry too much, i'm sure it's nothing to be too concerned about. :)
