sooo i went for a gyno check-up yesterday. And she told me that everything was pretty much fine. Except that I have too many follicles in my left ovary. She sorta felt it.. and then the ultrasound machine showed it.
I'm very regular in my periods, with the exception of being a few days off every few months. She was surprised when I said that. Apparently lots of follicles is usually a symptom of irregular periods? She told me that as long as I'm regular its nothing to worry about, and didn't say much more because she said she had to run to fix someone's abcess or something.
But I just wanted to check with you guys. Is it something I should be concerned with at all?

Date: 2007-06-06 04:44 pm (UTC)I didnt have hormone levels checked. And she didn't say cysts - I'd prolly have been a bit more worried if she did. She definitely said follicles and pointed out the dark spots on the ultrasound machine screen. she did say it was nothing to worry about as long as I'm regular. *shrug*
