The good news: I might be able to go to Bonnaroo!

The bad news: It's a month away...and I'm on my period right now...yyyeah. I'm horrible at tracking my period, but I do happen to know that this last cycle was 33 days. I don't know whether I just usually have a long cycle or if I'm not that regular and this one was just particularly long, but I counted days, and if it was that long again, I'd start right on the first day of Bonnaroo. I swear my reproductive system is out to ruin everything I plan.

I can NOT have my period then. As if it wouldn't be bad enough to be on it for an event where I don't want to be uncomfortable and running to the bathroom every couple hours...I do NOT want to have to deal with that while I'm stuck with public showers and portapotties and living in a tent with probably two other girls and two guys.

So, I think I want to try to induce my period when it gets close to time. I've read the tagged posts and this post was especially helpful (at least I know how to make parsley tea now!) but I'm still a little nervous, so hopefully it's alright if I post again to get some input on my particular situation.

Is it okay to use parsley tea (or something else) to make my period come earlier, rather than just making a late one show up? I'm also sort of unsure of time frame since I suck so hard at tracking my periods. It's hard for me to know when it would be coming unless I just use that 33 day figure, so I can't really work with how early I want it. Is it safe to just wait 3 weeks after this one ends and start trying to induce then?

I also read something about using vitamin C capsules to induce. I don't know how much those would cost but I could probably find some somewhere if they weren't too expensive. I'm guessing this is like a one at a time thing - i.e. if the parsley tea doesn't work, try this, not just go for both at once. Right? Should I start with the parsley tea, give it a couple days, and if it's not working try some vitamin C? Is there anything else I should consider?

Thanks in advance for any and all advice. I'm really nervous about this since I've never done anything like this before and I really don't want to be on my period for Bonnaroo, so any information anyone has will be verrry much appreciated. THANKS!
