This is something I've been wondering about for a while. If your 'period' when you're on the pill isn't actually a real period, would you still miss it if you became pregnant? Or would you carry on bleeding for as long as you kept taking the pill while pregnant? If the latter, how are you supposed to detect pregnancy early on if you're still having 'periods'?
What I'm essentially asking is: do you miss your period if you get pregnant while on the pill?

Since HBC can shorten and reduce the flow of many women's periods, I would imagine that if you were taking HBC it would be somewhat more likely to confuse pregnancy spotting with a normal period; however, that's still not a very major factor.
Ultimately, you would not have a full fledged period.
