Hi everyone.  I wanted to find out more about something I've been curious about for a while now -- multiple orgasms!  I'm wondering a few things, and I'm hoping some of you ladies wouldn't mind spilling your guts.  I already asked this over at sextips, but I thought I might get some other perspectives here.  Thanks!

How many females out there can have them?
When you have them, do the ones after the first feel different than the first one?
Do they feel different from 'one big orgasm'?
What's the most you can have in one session?
How long do they last?
Did you have to learn how to have multiple orgasms?  If so, how did you learn?
For those that have multiple orgasms, do you need to have more than one to feel satisfied?

I don't know if its very accurate to say that every woman can have multiple orgasms...some women find it very difficult or impossible to just have one!!

Not sure about percentages for everyone, but myself for one.

A little. I can feel even more of the tension that was built up dissipating.

Do they feel different from 'one big orgasm'?
Sort of - they feel similar during, but after I can definitely tell that I could go again with the multiples. If I have one huge one I can tell I'm pretty well spent afterward.

What's the most you can have in one session?
Not sure how many I could potentially have, but I have had 5 or so.

How long do they last?
I've had some that go 30 seconds - regardless of orgasm type for me they can last a loonng time. Like a pig's. My fiance remarks on that sometimes, haha.

Did you have to learn how to have multiple orgasms? If so, how did you learn?
I just felt at one point that I could still go and try for another, so I did and it worked. This didn't happen for me until I was in my late teens. It is easier when you're by yourself I think. It's strange, because I used to be a one-orgasm person but I became multi orgasmic over time/as I got more sexually experienced. I think it had a lot to do with getting with a new and sexually better/more exciting partner.

For those that have multiple orgasms, do you need to have more than one to feel satisfied?
Occasionally, which is the downside of it. But if I spend a while working up to one orgasm I can still just have the one big one and feel fine about it. About half the time one is fine, the other half of the time two is best for me (and any more are a bonus).

I didn't start to really regularly get orgasms until I was 22. Seems like a long time, but hey, that's just me. Anyway, in one night I got up to 10. I used to race to get as many as possible in a shorter time than the last time. They each felt really sharp, like lightening, and were short. Now, I get maybe one or two, but they are so different. Longer, more intense, full-bodied, if that makes sense. Not like it wasn't my whole body the times before, but in the sense of richness? And I didn't have to learn. It just happened. :3

i have them sometimes and dont really like them all the much. one time it seriously lasted a whole minute, i kind of want it to end already. at the same time though, i have to say that particular time was the best ever. with that said, i suppose im being a hypocrite. every other time though i havent liked the multiples, i like to regain control of myself quicker. if i recall correctly, i used to get around 8. i didnt learn though, it just happened and i had no idea what was going on heh. i dont need to have any to be satisfied, however my boy needs to have one for me to be happy :)

I can't. After one, it takes about 30 minutes or longer to "reset" -- and the shorter the interval between 'em, the less powerful the subsequent one is. O:p Dang nervous system's wired the "guy" way, apparently.

I can totally have multiple orgasms, I love it!!! With me, it's a little different than the posters above. It's like each orgasm builds up this different sort of tension....until I reach the biggest one and it's like this giant explosion of pleasure. All the other ones feel like little teasers leading up to the big one. Then after that, all I want to do is pass out because I can barely move. I didn't learn to do this, it just happened.

When you have them, do the ones after the first feel different than the first one? Do they feel different from 'one big orgasm'? - Yes. My first one is usually the "big one" and any subsequent orgasms are like little shockwaves. That's when my legs and hips start shaking/convulsing. I actually like the subsequent ones better. My fiance does, too...convulsing = tightening up more.
What's the most you can have in one session? I've honestly never counted.
How long do they last? Very short, but if they come one right after another, it feels like a long time.

Kind of, I was unfortunate enough to lose my virginity and be sexually active fairly early and most of my partners were fellow teenagers who thought it was okay for me to only orgasm once. Everyone can. But not everyone has figured out what makes it happen for them yet. I have.

It depends. If I have multiple clitoral orgasms, the first one is a lot deeper and the rest feel 'smaller'. But if I have g-spot/vaginal orgasms, then they get deeper and deeper until I full on screaming.

I think the most I've ever gone to is 13. I normally have 4-5 per session.

Clitoral orgasms for me are quite quick and make me go all spasmy, g-spot/vaginal orgasms are longer.

By having an amazing inventive partner! Seriously, my partner is amazing, and opened me up to so many new things and techniques, he made me not afraid of my own body. I'm now polyamorous and have multiple orgasms with my other partners, mostly due to the fact that I feel more 'open' and 'ready' for them.

If I'm masturbating, I'll usually delay orgasm, so when I do have one it's a MASSIVE one and just that one is enough for me. But if I'm having sex, I like to have more than one. My partner usually makes me orgasm at least once before he penetrates me, then I'll have several more during intercourse. If he finishes quickly and I've not had many, or any at all, during intercourse, he'll give me oral/manual stimulation to have more orgasms. I think having an understanding, sensitive, gorgeous, sexy lover is VERY important when exploring your sexuality. You cannot expect to have multiple orgasms with someone that you do not trust or feel comfortable with IMO.
