Gardisil Question

I got the first shot of the series on March 15. Anyway, the nurse told me it would hurt. My shoulder ached for 2 days afterwards. Then it felt better. but it's just aching today in the area where the shot was given. Anyone else experience this?

I have to go back for shot #2 in May and Im afraid because it really did hurt last time:( Shots aren't all that bad for me but this shot hurt!

p.s. Im not saying you shouldn't get it!


EDIT: My second shot is in May but I said april by accident!

I have a booklet about Gardasil, but it says nothing about it hurting a couple of weeks later. It just says that the most common side effects are pain, swelling, itching, and redness at the injection site. The PA that we know said the first two shots are the worst (pain wise) but the third was not. Hang in there. I would just ask the nurse/doctor when you go in for the 2nd shot if it is normal. It could just be a fluke??

yeah, it's probably just a fluke. I hope the next two don't hurt as much!
