So, for curiosity's sake, does anyone actually like warming lube? KY or whatever other brand. Every time I see it mentioned here, it's bad. I don't like either, it burns. But they make the stuff, it has to be succesful somewhere... Who likes it?

Sorry if this has been discussed before! Delete if necessary.

I couldn't care either way with it, but my husband likes the feeling of it on his penis, espcecially when he masterbates. So, it's in our house, but not used so much.

We've used Durex warming lube before... it felt a little burny on my fingers but felt okay in the vagina. Maybe it only felt burny on my fingers because I blew it on it, which I guess you're supposed to do to activate the heat or something. But even though it didn't burn in my vagina, it did give me a raging yeast infection every time I used it. :-/

We tried it for a regular old massage once and things were just sticky icky.

so I dont really feel it vaginally or massage or anything of that nature so I could care less either way. The only time I've ever felt the "warming" was on my fingers. This is for the KY stuff.

Except this one time my partner thought it would be fun to use it for anal sex. OMG, don't do this ever, it burned for so looooooong!

We've never needed lube for sex, but we bought some of the KY warming lube/massage oil and I love it. We've used it plenty of times for 'intimate massages' and it's fantastic - I've never had any problems with burning or itching or any of the other things I've heard complaints about, even when it's gotten inside my vagina.

I have found that anything that says warming=burning for me. I imagine it might be great for massages of the non-sexual nature.

I've never seen the point. Lube makes me slippery, that's all I need.

Can't stand it. I prefer cooling/tingling stuff. Like Kama Stura's Pleasure Balm.

burning, tastes funny, isn't that lube-y, doesn't stay on my silicone toys....nope. no good.

burning....

and see my comment in previous posts about it being fluffy, politically correct lube for people who don't want to admit they have sex and so buy "massage" products; and the fact that (especially for anal) you need lube that's like...YUP, I'M LUBE. I LOVES ME SOME SEXXX. and has i ♥ anal tattoooed on it's shoulder.

I'm just curious (to anyone who feels like answering) - is this burning sensation like a chemical burning feeling or does the lube just get too hot?

For me, Iit's like the vaginal equivalent of getting soap in one's eyes. :(

Very painful! Used the stuff on prom night - I had to run to the tub immediately.

Well, ow. :(

Did it hurt your skin elsewhere? I'm wondering because maybe people could spot-test it on themselves to see if it would hurt before they get it home and have it on their nether regions.

I like it on my tummy. I'm always always always cold though so maybe that's why.

I dont feel so alone now, I'm cold even if my SO's sitting next to me sweating. My fingers and toes are almost always on the verge of numbing.

My bf got a free sample of ky warming lube off their website. We used it and neither of us could tell a warming sensation.

I only like it if we're just starting to have sex. If I try to use it after we've going at it for a while it hurts... a LOT. I usually end up running to the shower and massaging my vagina for a while.

Haha, well apparently males like it. I had a friend who loved the stuff, but when I got it even on my arm it burned like hell; definitely not something I'd wanna slather on my girly bits.

Oh, and for clarification, that friend was male.

I've used the astroglide warming lube and it just feels a little tinglier (and thinner) to me than astroglide's regular lube. It was a fun sensation but not something I'd go out of my way to get.

I have an ex who loved it, he bought some of the trojan condoms with it on 'em. We couldn't use it while we were together, as it burned me. Hopefully his next girl could use 'em, as he had a big box of them he bought while we were together before we realized I couldn't have 'em in me.

Men sure do love to buy big boxes of condoms, don't they? I love men.

Again, the one time I used it for sex, the guy loved it. I felt the soap-in-the-eyes thing. Our solution was to use it for hand jobs!

It doesn't burn or give me yeast infections like some people say. But we have some higher quality stuff that we like better and use more often, so I don't go through it that quickly either. I got it not through a promotion but because I was at the drug store and they only had that or the gross store brand so I figured I'd give it a try. I don't know that I'd go out of my way to buy it again when eventually runs out but if I had a free coupon or something I might go for it.

I actually really like the warming sensation but no longer use warming lubes because:

1) I have yet to see one that's glycerin-free, which I need.

2) The warming ingredient in most lubes is actually acacia honey (http://www.vaginapagina.com/index.php?title=Lubrication#Warming_Lubes), which I'm sure is sugary and not good for my tendency toward developing yeast infections. :)

If I could find another warming lube without glycerin or honey in it, I might try it. ;)

I just finished reading this book (http://www.amazon.com/Love-Female-Orgasm-Extraordinary-Guide/dp/1569242763/sr=8-1/qid=1171036994/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/002-4245693-9013659?ie=UTF8&s=books), and in it the authors did a survey of women, asking what they thought of warming lubes. The results were that most women found the warming to be more of a burning sensation and didn't like it; however, a minority of women did enjoy it. To each her own. :)

Like [livejournal.com profile] frolicnaked said, it's also good to watch out for yeast infection-causing ingredients.

We don't use it very often, but I actually like it because I don't like the cold feeling of regular lube. But I think it's just because I'm always cold, and I suppose just warming the bottle of regular lube under some running water would work well, too, now that I think about it ....

It's eeeeeevil!!!! Eeeeeeeeevil!!!!!!! At least for me. I tried it a couple of times and I ended up with a much harsher burn than I had intended to have. Plus, my vagina and I don't react very well with KY or any glycerin lubes.
