vulval sore

Im currently being treated for a thrush infection and the problem seems to have pretty much cleared up. However I had sex last night (no pain yay) and today theres like a small sore next to my clit..its not painful at all really but it is slightly open and wet.

I will be going back to the doctors soon anyway and will check it with her but obviously im a bit concerned. Was thinking this was quite possibly due to a long nail or just over vigorous clitoral stimulation. Ive had a similar thing before, tinier, that i noticed one night but by the next day it was prety much gone.

Any advice or reassurance is appreciated, like i say i will be mentioning it to the doctor and asking to be checked for herpes just incase.

all i can offer you is reassurance that you're totally on the right lines, here. it is quite possible it's as simple as you having been scratched or otherwise injured at some point during sex, but because of the delicate nature of this it's always best to be checked over by a professional.
you're being really sensible about this, so you shouldn't let yourself worry too much. even if it is something scary, your action in going to your doctor will help if you need any treatment for it.

but i'm sure it's completely normal and non-threatening. :)

Thanks for the comments guys, I was worrying so i called the local GUM clinic and they said to come in tomorrow to have it swabbed. Now im attempting not to worry and will just let the doctor fix it tomorrow :)
