Hi,
I am wondering if anyone has had similar experiences. This morning, my husband and I had sex which was unremarkable except for being a quickie and I wasn't that aroused when we started. I did feel some pressure, but not pain, on maybe my cervix as he penetrated me from behind. We both orgasmed, me with manual stimulation, and then after he came and withdrew a minute later was when it started. I began to have a very intense cramp, similar to a menstrual cramp, but more intense than any I've ever had. I also became lightheaded to the point where my peripheral vision started to blur and I was afraid I was going to pass out. I was nauseous and broke out in a cold sweat, which I am not sure whether is related to the pain of the cramp.

I elevated my feet, took an ibuprofen, and applied my trusty heating pad to my pelvic region. After about 30 mins, the pain subsided and right now I am feeling pretty normal.

This whole thing felt almost like some weird rebellion of my sympathetic nervous system, but was very scary. I am on Leena birth control pills and have been with little problem for about a year. I am on day 10 right now, so not premenstrual. I have no other relevant medical problems. Any thoughts?
Thanks for reading!

I had this happen once before. For me, it was a quickie kind of thing, too, and I suspect it was a product of not being sufficiently aroused. I, too, felt better after about half an hour, but man, did I feel crappy!

I told my husband it's what I imagine getting kicked in the balls is like...I read in a women's book once (can't remember where, though) that occasionally our ovaries can get hit, and that's *exactly* what it is like...getting kicked in the nuts!

This used to happen to me A LOT when I was on HBC. I mean, not all the time, but enough to be noted.
The worst time had me curled up on his kitchen floor crying because I thought I was going to throw up and pass out at the same time. I'm not absolutely positive, but it seemed to happen in unusual positions that jostled my stomach or put lots of pressure on my ovaries. For example, the really bad incident happened directly after rather tricky sex on a washing machine followed by missionary on the floor (where he was putting more weight on my body than usual).
I think the birth control played a part, maybe the hormone levels affected my sensitivity or something similar, because it hasn't really happened since I stopped taking it.
