im on my third week of pills (OTC-Lo)
in the first week there was two days(not in a row) where i took my pill almost 12 hrs late. I got nervous so i took plan b about a week from last thursday. Yesterday i started to get really bad stabbing sharp pains in my right ovary in target. I was doubled over a little bit even. I was scared to go to the bathroom cause it might hurt more. it went away after like an hr and then about 3 hrs later it started up in my left ovary. what are theese pains and what is my chance of getting pregnant? i had sex about and hr ago and the last time before that was on the night i took the plan b last thursday.

Mittelschmerz isn't a disease, it's just something that happens to some women during ovulation. (http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/mittelschmerz/DS00507) I'm not sure if that's what's going on with you, OP, since it's happening a lot more often and you shouldn't be ovulating (although it can happen) on HBC. Maybe you're having some cysts? Or maybe it was just some cramping since Plan B can throw your cycle off. Sorry I'm not much help, just wanted to clarify.

You're welcome. Actually though, even if you did ovulate HBC still does two other things to prevent pregnancy - it thins uterine lining and thickens cervical mucus. You can find out more in VP's vulvapedia entry on HBC. (http://www.vaginapagina.com/index.php?title=Hormonal_Birth_Control) I don't really think you're pregnant as long as you've been taking your pill correctly. I think something else could be going on. If you're really concerned you could always go to your doctor.
